@@Zachdude123 I think it was a rave culture thing. My best guess would be since a big part of it was drugs, it was a kind of mouth guard for if you over dosed it would keep you from biting your tongue off?
I am a very introverted person, so I have missed most of the feelgood rave / techno stuff in the 90s... but man alive, as I grow older I start to have a proper appreciation of the spirit. I still listen to trash metal and the like, but I'm no longer embarrassed by mixing it up with some carefree tunes from that era. Go listen to whatever makes you happy, and don't just get bogged down in a genre you think is "cool" or "non-mainstream" or whatever.
A truly magical show. The feeling this gave me when I got the dvds, magic. This show came right when I needed to hear some of the finer things it was trying to say. I noticed in myself some of the shitty behavior from people in this show. "Dang, I do that to people that love me...". That's 100% real.
i hate to say this but i fairly certain he was never going to wake up from the coma... the show has many hidden and not so hidden messages about the later season in the earlier seasons. watch season one where the action man meets Dr. Orpheus. He tells him exactly when he will die.2 years 17 days from a stroke.. i haven't done the math of how many years its been from season one but sounds pretty damn close to me.
Still remember sitting with my friend and watching this premiere since we had been waiting so long after the end of first season to see what happened. Have to say he beat me to the idea that the boys were clones. 😅

Those conversions sites aren't really harmful if you know what you're doing. If anything i question how much the video takes up on space when you download them...
A bit of an update : 09/02/20. It's Adult Swim's birthday.
