Venture Crunch was pulled from Grocery stores due to “not being food” and “chipping people’s teeth” but we all know that’s just the BIG CEREAL companies keeping us down!

Little fun fact: The only supports that can heal venture during burrow are lifeweaver with their ult, and strangely zenyatta with his healing orb

My friend has put his keybinds for his soundboard and shift ability as the same so when he digs down it's just a bass boosted "BEHOLD THE UNDERMINER!!!!!"

Ventue’s Burrow is Basically the same chomper’s ability from Pvz Gw2

Missed tips (I eat rocks too, ROCK AND STONE!) : 1. Drill dash while borrowed halfs the cooldown (8 seconds down to 4) so it isn't that bad to use it especially when you need to rotate for a flank or escape. 2. Tectonic shock fully fills venture shield health on first activation (it has a cap that is filled a little under half by the use of either of their abilities). 3. The clobber passive while great only does the regular melee damage for burst with the rest coming from the extra drill animation meaning you have to aim the melee for the whole animation to get that full damage output and it cant be cancelled so dont use it willy nilly you silly billy. 4. Left click + drill dash + left click + melee is the bread and butter combo. Saving burrow as a getaway tool when going for deep dives is good to keep in mind but you can start the engagement with as well. 5. The new passive healing works really well with venture seeing they can be invulnerable for 95% of the time before it kicks in so don't worry about no supports. 6. Drill dash is very effective against tanks and tbh I can easily see venture being used in anti dive comps like brig. Also tectonic shock especially should affect ventures along with Earth shatter while borrowed. Its basic logic.

I'm not kidding, earth shatter should literally instakill Venture if theyre caught in it while underground, it makes no sense for them to be immune to an ability that compacts the earth it hits so tightly that it can knock over a guy who has control over gravity itself. That's not a buff or a nerf to Venture or the tin can battering ram its just another hero interaction and makes him a valid counterpick to Venture... complete immunity while having unrestricted movement is silly, so make it not as insanely stupid

I honestly think what venture needs is slightly lower cool downs and a bit of a further range and maybe 230 health

worth mentioning the drill dash has its cooldown cut in half while used underground if you drill right as you go underground you'll almost be able to drill again when you emerge if you're underground for the full duration

Honestly Venture reminds me a lot of Vantage. The names feel similar to me, the designs are similar to me, and the voice/random interests are pretty similar to me.

In regards to healing: If you already have healing on you, you’ll continue getting healed. For instance, Zenyatta orb will stay on you. Auras will still heal too like Lucio and Brig (but not bap:/), but you won’t get Lucio’s beat or zen trans underground. Mercy’s beam if connected will act a thought it’s healing through a wall, meaning it will stay connected for a moment then break. Basically, Lucio, brig and zen are her preferred supports, zen specifically being really good as not only does he heal, but he shortens her kill combo, dash melee shoot melee, to just dash melee shoot

oh a good pro tip is that if you put a zen orb on venture before they burrow it will stay on them even while underground

When I played them I thought they were honestly just right, but I do think that a small range buff would be helpful like you said. I think the temporary shields evens out the health. And it might be because I wasn’t good at using it, but perhaps their ultimate could be buffed a little too, maybe a slight damage or speed increase

I think a good compromise for Earth shatter would be that it will stun venture in place while remaining underground until one or both abilities end.

Hot take, they need a secondary fire, or just another ability, like they throw down chunks of ore and it gives the team some over shield or something like that, I just personally feel like they need a bit more, and they're great, but still feels like there could've been more

I feel like venture is slightly too easy to play. Basically dash, shoot and melee into any non tank and your opponent will do this magical thing called teleporting back to spawn.

I have around 4-5 hours on venture already and they're my favorite character, I play some doom first so it was almost like second nature, in those 4-5 hours of play with them I got at least 5-6 play of the games in total, in my opinion 9/10 character definitely going to main them loads, I just feel like their primary fire needs more range maybe 3-5 Meester boost nothing to broken

My only problem with ventures kit is her Ult, it feels a bit overtuned and doesn't have drawbacks for the sheer amount of damage it does, examples of this would be Dva, Reaper, Orisa, big damage ults but they force the character to give something to balance it, venture doesn't. So i think she can do without a little damage and range is all

Soo, genuinely trying to educate myself here. Is there another pronoun to non-binary people like Venture other than they/them? Cause they/them is also a pronoun when there's multiple people like "They are there" or "He is with them", see where the confusion can come in? Specially in a game where information is very important. Genuinely trying to learn here, not trying to be disrespectful

she has already earned the nickname gremlin within my group, she is by god one of the most fun additions recently in overwatch

I returned to overwatch with venture`s release and I got 2 play`s of the game in a row playing them

The they/them prounouns could get confusing for callouts, and im bad enough with pronouns with my irl NB friends. Plus there are gonna be ppl who get mad at me in vc for accidentally misgendering them so i just kinda wish blizzard came and said they where NB but used he/him or she/her pronouns, hell even saying they use all 3 would be better

Use your drill dash at the start of your burrow ability, its only half the cooldown when you do and if you fully charge the jump up youll already have it back when you resurface.

i think Ventures ult is a bit underwhelming when not comboed, I the shocks should cover a wider area or let venture charge it up for a earth shatter sized but it uses all of the bars, but doesnt do that much more damage

I think when Venture is using the burrow ability I think any character that slams The ground should get Venture out of the ground or if any character has some sort of explosive it should slightly damaged Venture

Idk if he mentioned this but here mele cancels her shoot animation so the combo is Shoot mele the dash abilitiey shoot dash that kills most non tanks and if it doesn't you can burrow away when low
