No. Venus is in your 1st house. If Venus was anywhere between 0 degrees of Scorpio upto 13 degree of Scorpio the Venus will be in the 12th bhava. (the bhava concept). Now you have a Venus in the 1st house indicating your love for the aesthetic part of our lives.

E K Dhilip Kumar Sir, based on what I have heard in Nadi astrology is that they have a precise calculation method with the help of different laws. For example, one of the law says that the sub lord is stronger than Bhukti and Bhukti is stronger than Pratyantar Dasha. Based on this Nadi astrologers judge the strength and weakness of the Horoscope and accurately predicts the events in native's life. However, there are many other rules just to mention a few, (A) "The 12th house from every house kills the significance of the house" (B) "The 2nd house from every house increases the significance of the house”. (C) At the age of 24 the Jupiter planet will get activated and a native will have significant event related to the 12th house from Jupiter. After knowing this I have also checked few horoscopes of my near ones just to know whether it works or not and to my surprise it really works. Don’t you think that based on the rules of the simple mathematical calculations one can be close to accurate prediction compared to in Parashari Astrology where we need to remember 1000’s of Yogas, Aspects, conjunctions, Sadbala, Bhavbala and so on. I have a keen interest in Parashari Astrology but my curiosity took me to have blink on Jaimini and Nadi astrology as well. I’m sure that your guidance will allow me to understand this better.

The rule of 12th house from every house is bad for that house is true because, the 12th house is behind the 1st house, our beginning and 12th house is the end (Moksha). Same way 7th house, 6th house is the house of divorce. 4th house, 3rd house means going away from home.

Srinivasan K Yes many has this doubt including me. I had asked many questions to astrologers about this. I feel that no book (BPHS) says about bhava chart. It came in the later AD's. Nothing much to prove is significance. But as per Dhilip Sir, he uses bhava madhya with whole house system. Ascendant is middle of the first house.

If you use 2 grahas then it is only 2 numbers of a 10 digit number lock. 9 planets + Lagna makes it a 10 digit lock. So using 2 planets you cannot conclude. There will be 1000s of people born in Mesha Lagna and has Venus and Mercury in the 12th house.

12th house is the house of loss. Check if Venus is in the 12th house house even in Bhava Chart as much as Rasi Chart.
