Lol I appreciate the video and commentary bro. Never thought somebody would make a video on me or that I was even worth talking about. I guess I still don’t see myself the way other people look at me, I don’t want to feel like this big RU-vid celebrity or anything like that, I just want to make videos for fun and hope people enjoy them. By the way, I appreciate the shout out. Great commentary on the video, a lot of the things you talked about of the cartoon series are things that I’m actually not happy with as well. I don’t like inconsistencies with the character designs and how they reuse shots but it does speed up the production time. Each episode takes 3 to 4 months which is ridiculous. I saw that his animators traced, but hes a good man, he pays his animators highly, and deeply cares about everybody. He never really knew they traced. His videos are mostly for kids, with a Y7 rating. Hes not a bad guy, neither is CBB. Edit: from CBB i meant the show; Cartoon Beatbox Battles.

I didn't know about Verbalase until I discovered the Thanos beatbox meme about a month or two ago, but I have legitimately enjoyed watching and listening to Verbalase with my little brother since then and I say he has some pretty good content and is a really great guy.

Saying that tracing doesn’t improve future art is a harrowing statement in my opinion. I’ve seen countless artists, including me, who started out tracing different drawings of different characters. Then after being a “tracer” for a while, could draw the characters without tracing in their own style, and then found their own style that way.

I think its safe to say that basically everyone knew that it was traced as you can clearly tell in half of them you can see key character poses and portraits. But even though you can still see his genuine passion and happiness when he makes them and I really hope he'll be able to make more.

I will forever love how passionate Verbalase is about something so goddamn silly. It’s wholesome and pure. We need more people like Verbalase. He takes me right back to the early 2000s when his stuff would have unironically been the coolest fucking thing around.

I think the traces are actually a good thing, because it keeps character traits that were in a lot of the original thing. If they look the same as before, people will look at that and remember a scene from where that’s from. I know whenever mario jumps, I love it, because of how close it is to the actual jump.

I like how calobi didn't comment on your calobi video but verbalase actually watched this one and commented on it and actually TRIED to improve,by fixing the artstyle and it looks much better now,calobi? Nah he decided not to even try to improve,and when he saw that verbalase was better calobi decided that he should make a battle between both verbalase and him and he made himself look better than verbalase and made it so we couldn't vote,making it so he would probably win automatically

Ignoring the elephant in the room... I think this critique ignores that the videos are made mostly for people who are fans of the original work, so they pay homage to the originals by including some classic shots of the characters. Also the videos are short and full of action so the inconsistency isn't really distracting at all, as much as it would be in a slower piece of animation.

Wait, I thought it was obvious? Was it just me? I mean, c'mon, you literally don't have to do any research to know that the animation styles kept changing from crap to decent. Eh, he's not really a bad guy, though he does need to improve on that.

so @verbalase instead of putting 50k into production and making his animations better he's just buying fanart for himself and using puppets and fnaf animation software instead I hope you have a sequel planned

I enjoy his channel and dont mind the inconsistency of the animation it , I'm no artist or animator as long as it convey what it wants to express I'll be ok with it. He is a good person based on everything I seen from him and I know he's channel will improve on it but this was a good video that pointed out on stuff without it being "critical" but overall good work

I'm glad that he got new animators, since the other ones traced. The animations also look generally nicer.

With Ace’s newest episode, most of the animation problems have been fixed, the animation has improved drastically, and I’ve only seen 1 example of tracing, and couldn’t find any inconsistencies in the animation so it seems that they’re now using either reference sheets or originally drawn storyboards Also Sideway Pennywise has been fixed so 10/10 we can no longer criticize him anymore
