JURY VERDICT: After a little over 5 hours of deliberation, the jury found Defendant Christopher Gregor GUILTY of killing his 6-year-old son hours after the child's mother dropped him off at the defendant's home. The child's mother says Corey Micciolo was happy and healthy when she left him with Gregor. Breanna Micciolo says she filed several reports of abuse against the Defendant, including an order for emergency custody just days before Corey died. Among the reports of abuse, Gregor allegedly forced Corey to run on a treadmill at high speeds, causing the boy to fall repeatedly.

It was murder. But it has to be finely defined to stick. Was it premeditated? Was it an attack with intent to kill? Was the defendant aware of what COULD HAPPEN? ( GREGOR was an airhead. No common sense when dealing with a young child and their physical limitations. Mr C Macho man was only aware of HIS AUTHORITY, HIS POWER, HIS NEED TO CONTROL. .)

@wendytaylor2101 I love the way you think you can read minds. I can assure you (being in a LE family myself) that any disgust you think you can read on the parents' faces are feelings of disgust toward the behavior of their son. Most police officers have made many arrests involving domestic violence and it is something they view with disdain. The fact that this involved the death of their grandson due to the cruelty of a son they have no doubt raised to respect and follow the laws, but for whatever the reason, took out his anger on this boy to the point of causing his death, would be the hardest thing possible for a member of law enforcement. I can tell you that father knew what the verdict would be when he heard the jury was back. There was no surprise for him. He can only torture himself for the rest of his life wondering what he could have done different and what signs he missed in raising Chris. It is a bitter pill to swallow. There are absolutely no winners here.

Little Corey, what a strong little man he had to be, to keep the secrets he was too afraid to say. Was he told by his father that to say anything would lead to worse for him or for someone he loved? Also Corey got back on that machine so many times, without crying or saying no, he knew he couldn’t show emotion. How impossible for a small child. What was done to him was abuses on every level.
