To mark 20 years of partnership between USAID and Mongolia, we asked Mongolians to tell us about how they, and their country, have changed during that time.
After withdrawal of Soviet support in 1990, Baganuur coal mine was on the verge of failure. In his 20 years at the mine, Daavasuren has seen Baganuur regain its footing with support from USAID, and continue to supply the country with coal.
