I loved how Jesus was disappointed/sad. As an Orthodox Christian ☦ myself, Taboritsky is one of the most horrifying things that can happen to an nation, in many ways Taboritsky makes Himmler look good. After an exhaustive day, you finally go home, you must pray, that's the only thing you can do anyways, tomorrow a bunch of priests come over to your home, they sprinkle you with holy water and then they say "Go forth servant of Christ, your country calls" before you know it you're on a truck full of soldiers, you are terrified, but also relieved to know that this once great nation is in a war, the germans aren't THIS bad, turns out you aren't in a war, you are left in a village in the middle of Siberia alongside some other young men, your duty? To "cleanse" the village, the screams of men, women, children fill your ears, you are the only one not shooting, you notice a man wearing a special uniform, decorated with various icons from shoulder to shoulder, before you realize his gun is pointed at your head, "Blessed are the meek" he whispers, he isn't a believer, but he has a job to do in order to survive, you look eachother in the eye and a silent bond is formed not a single word is spoken but his soul is screaming "I'm sorry"

Crazy to think how a few paradox mods put to shame the settings of some books, like Man in the High Castle just feel kinda cringe to me now that i played TNO. Also, lookup "Bob Denard" on wikipedia. The guy was a french merc during the 60's and 70's, really worth a read. Might be usefull in your game.

I wouldn't know how to tbh, since for this one i had a clear idea of what to do when i started (using the quotes from the clock). It just happend that i was watching the chernobyl show when playing the clock run for the first time. I could try, but not soon since i started editing timelapses. Not ruling it out tho, osmk was my first TNO run and i kinda want to play it again. Maybe when i come back at playing TNO i could make another one if i get an idea in my mind.

This from the mod The new Order: Last day of Europe, a mod in the alternative scenario of a full Axis Victory in WW2. In it Russia is made up of warlord states with many of them being able to reunify Russia. One of them is the Republic Of Komi who has a path where Sergei Taboritsky can take power and he can reunify Russia. He is a weird nazi russian monarchist who believs that the son of Nicholas II, Tsarevich Alexei is still alive and is will reveal himself when russia is "purified" so he basically gaz every ethnic minority, destroy most of Russia environement and basically transform a country into a giant concentration camp. Although (Spoiler) When he finish reunifying Russia he dies with his empire collapsing after his supporter finds out that he is half-jewish and he prevent a unified russia for at least 50 years.

I not speak english very well but i can tried to tell you the lore. In TNO universe germany won the ww2. There a cold war beetween: Germay (that control north-east Europe and central Africa), America, Japan (that control east Asia) and Italy (that control the mediteranean sea). The 4 power fight for the supremacy on the world. Russia in 1941 fall and the german occupy the A-A line and the rest of Russia was Ruled by NKVD and red army warlord tha join togheter in the "West Russian revolutionary front". In the 50s the WRRF push back the nazi but because of internal un unreast the front fall and repleced by thousand of warlord that you can use to reunify Russia. One of this warlord state is Komi repubblic that have a party lead by Sergey Tarborisky that is an extremist monarchist who belive that Alexei lives and wasn't dead in 1918. If Tarborisky take control of Komi repubblic and reunify all of the remanents of Russia he "clean" all political enemy and etnic minority by terror boming and gas attack on the "traidor" village. He also establish a corporate-feudal society. At the end (whit Tarborisky dies) the Empire fall create a second warlord era.

You wouldn't need to play it to understand the context, but it wouldn't hurt to read or watch something about the mods lore, "The New Order: Last Days of Europe". If you like this, it'd probably be enjoyable. Basically a world where Nazi Germany won WW2 done fantastically that doesn't only focus on Germany although does have great detail for them.

As Technic said it's from The Eight Hundred, a chinese movie. The first half of this movie amazing, later on the film become the basic war stuff but it's still really cool if you are interested in the asian side of ww2
