Fact: the star on the head appeared after Andriy Danylko (the real name of the performer) heard that wearing something reflective or mirror-like could help "reflect the negative energy". And he also stated that by participating in the Eurovision he wanted to prove that "Serduchka is the Ukrainian Cinderella, for she started as a train stewardess and became a star!" (he started his career from standup comedy, where Serduchka was a train stewardess)

the name for the stage is Verka Serdyuchka (Andrey Danilko) just a super guy, he has all the folk songs for both dancing and partying! Ukraine is cool Ukraine is super great!

June 21st this year they were on the Embrace Ukraine here in Amsterdam and there they changed the song in Russia Goodbye instead of Lasha Tumbai
