Hi guys Love it when you explain the the hold over method ref to shooting that little extra distance. I have just got a friend into Air rifle shooting and bring him on a couple Of my permissions. At the moment his happy At 40-45 yards. But he like myself watch and listens to your show to gain as much information and knowledge as poss. Once again guys. A big thank you.

Great video showing some fantastic "vermin control"! It just goes to show exactly how effective a good "springer" can be in the right hands. Well done!

You guys have really sorted long range 12f/p hunting. Your method of 'all holdover' is an excellent idea. Trouble is,I'm a bit 'long in the tooth' at 76 (but still young in heart) and would have problems with the chairgun Idea. I guess the best idea is to decide at what distance the top of the arc would be (depending on the scope height) and then do a load of distance and mil dot measurements eh? A bit like having all the ranges related to clicks on the elev'n turret ATB Jim.

That was a quick fix( the voice). I wish to be able to make a pigeon head shot out of 55 metres. If i can have a question you are using a variable power scope which doesnt have mach use except the only one power setting fot which you have your hold over checked. Is it not better to use straight 10. Fix power scopes except beeing cheaper are brighter. Myself i have a mtc viper 6-24x56 and I couldnt understand why i am missing . My next scope will have first focal plane retickle as all the distance changes between mill dots with dfferent magnification are confusing me. Thanks and good luck on your next hunt.

just picked up a nitesite viper from my local rfd. some guy bought a full kit, gun, scope , nitesite, etc etc. couldint afford it , brung it all bk to sell to the shop. I had his nitesite £250 ;-) he hadint even used it once looking at it ! lol. my rfd sold it to me as new because the guy had not even filled in the warranty card. so I get 2 year nitesite guarantee aswell.

Nice clip, I have a Viper and a Leapers 3x12x44 compact scope, due to the shortness of the tube, mounting the Viper was impossible with their supplied clamp, now that compact scopes are becoming more popular, I have over come this with a profesional quick release mounting system with no modification to the Viper, if you would be interested in more info please let me know and I will send details through your website

just found this vid, very good shooting, those are some nice rifles, question though, what do ya do with the rabbits once shot? hate to hear if they are just tossed aside, hopefully the meat is used for dinners for those that like that. not trying to soumd like a member of P.E.T.A, sorry if it comes across as that.

That was very good. I have a Nikon 3X9X40 on a Remington 552 Speedmaster .22 rimfire. I am having a heck of a time trying to sight that rifle in. I used to sight my deer rifles in to almost perfect-O. But this little .22 has me thinking a may need a different scope. I shot at 50 yds. and could not determine where the bullets were going. We changed to 25 yds. and still the same. AT 25 YARDS!! What brand scopes do you use and are they available in the U.K.?

John Echterhoff This clip was made using my Hawke Panorama 4-12x40mm AO IR with half mildot. Its a great glass for vermin shooting.

@VerminHuntersTV
@VerminHuntersTV 9 лет назад
Yes it can be done. Better I personally feel with. 22 but not something I do because you miss and it's a very painful wounding. If you miss a head shot you have a very good chance of a humane spinal kill.
