Vermintide 2: Hardest Monsters Tier List 

The hardest monster in the whole game in my opinion is the teammate you accidentally friendly fire and begins to gun you down till your half health.

Honorable mention about the Minotaur that makes them so terrifying is that they can also be buffed by banners, giving them a damage buff and armor everywhere but the head, which is almost impossible to reach. And since minotaurs almost exclusively spawn when there are already beastmen on the map, the likelihood of getting one banner buffed is never too low. Trying to get to the standard with a minotaur around is a nightmare, and I can't tell you how many Dark Omens I've lost at the very end because people don't know all you have to do is kill the banners to win and the Minotaur kills us all.

My favourite is Minotaur, because you can crouch and he won't be able to do anything if you have your back against a wall, his legs are broken and he always noclips through the person he is attacking, it's especially funny if you have slayer bardin with dual axes, chopping balls time!

The mino in particular is aggravating when his aggro switches around constantly. 180 turn into a headbutt or axe swing instantly slapping the rest of the team is hilarious, but very frustrating if there isn't much coordination. great tier list overall!

I'd prefer getting a Troll over a Rat Ogre, because they're slow and a hell of a lot easier to dodge. I'd probably rate the Stormfiend higher, as its flame can really pin you down. But I absolutely agree with the Spawn and Minotaur being the worst to fight against. Many a Chaos Wastes run as been instantly ended because of those too, especially that F...ken Minotaur!!.

I wonder if Fat Shark could add some more monsters in, maybe an Ogre or a Chaos Dwarf Bull Centaur. Or perhaps even a Greater Unclean One or Bloodthirster(but they'd probably be more boss fight)

I remember when I first play cata on Righteous Stand, I don't believe what I saw on that day, Me and two other player jumps down on that edge of that map and a troll spawn on top, and the Witch Hunter Captain (bot) who was left behind start soloing the troll and won, against a troll.

When it comes to Chaos Spawn vs. Rat Ogre, I think we can all agree it's a classic case of a accursed monstrosity with possibly corrosive breath on one side, a gargantuan apex rodent with preternatural strength on the other, and me in the middle on all fours getting my shit absolutely plowed

I'd like to add to bile troll that his axe attacks are unblockable and can damage you a bit. he's also really dangerous in places with low ceilings because he can animation cancel and just nuke the shit out of you.

The good thing about the Minotaur is the fact that all of it's attacks can be blocked except for the headbutt and the charge. If you run enough stamina regen and block cost reduction with a shield you can block that thing indefinitely, giving your teammates time to wail on it from behind like nobody's business. Which in my opinion makes it less dangerous than the chaos spawn, even though both are similar in their aggression. The minotaur does not grab you.

Unless I'm in a tunnel or a similarly chokepointy area I think the stormfiend is easy to deal with, troll similar but even easier. rat ogre I would rate higher due to its change target animation being very hard to predict. Chaos spawn is by far the hardest imo due to its seemingly random attack animations. The Minotaur is medium difficulty, its very simple, the charge can be manipulated with height. HOWEVER depending the grudge spawn this list changes. Troll with regen and immortality is something else... nightmare fuel

My list is Minotaur Chaos Spawn Rat Ogre Bile Troll Stormfiend I think the reasoning behind troll and fiend's difficulty is highly situational. It *might* run away, it *might* heal, a horde *might* spawn, it *might* throw you off a ledge. If you don't take into account the what-if's those 2 are pushovers.

I've developed a hatred for the minotaur due to his ability to throw you off edges. So many legendary expeditions to the citadel failed...

Not sure if you are looking for ideas for videos but looking at all the D tier classes and weapons, giving the viewers the option of picking a loadout and talents and a map for you for a round and then showing the highlights on RU-vid could be interesting. Imagine we chose BH with axe on Athel yenlui? Lol Or without being nasty, we might be curious to see you try an interesting combination and your thoughts on it. Who knows, you might even be impressed by something you haven’t tried before. Viewers could post their ideas below and we would upvote the ones we like. New series called Wet’s Loadouts? This list just makes the Cursed Aura Vampiric Regenerating Minotaur I encountered in the Wastes to be even bigger of an Oh Shit moment

In violent agreement about the Mino - especially if you are Sienna, stuck in the crevice in Winds of Magic, while the Knight with his shield is 'who the hell knows where'

I'd honestly say the Stormfiend is slightly more of a threat than the Bile Troll much of the time, if only because that warpfire is a run-killer in some locations, and the Troll being able to heal isn't that big of a deal if you have a competent team. Plus, the Stormfiend having armor does mean it's a bit tougher to damage him with certain weapons that you can otherwise just spam into a monster, such as the Volley Crossbow. Great video nonetheless, absolutely agree with your reasoning!

stormfiend is easiest because it is the only monster that doesnt get any harder in traffic. the fire kills the mobs and ultimately the damage it does to the player is controllable. minotaur can heal, if buffed by banner. minotaur is difficult because of the aggro switching, which doesnt seem to be mentioned here. trolls are easier than noted because they have extremely long stagger animation, they are destroyed with stagger ults, bombs, even explosive barrels.

Saying the minotaur cant heal is true under the assumption that hes alone but just like rats, beastmen rarely come alone. The minoraur can be healed by wargors and their banners. The Minotaur is so dangerous because hes the only monster you cant really run away from and if you can face one, hes usually got the most annoying support. Archers and banners etc.

While Mino does not do nothing super special (like grabbing, regen or set you on fire) its really fast, it has high HP and damage, and charge sometimes could annoy you. I would say S tier: Mino and Spawn A tier: Stormfiend B tier: Troll A tier: Rat ogre Stormfiend is one of the worst in close situations

I personally would switch the Stormfiend and Bile Troll, but I play on Legend. I play almost exclusively with melee only (Slayer, Grail Knight) and the Stormfiend fire takes me down all the time in tight spaces. You can pretty much have 1-2 people take on the Troll while the others fight hordes.

Stormfiends on chaos wastes are an absolute pain, especially the grudge mark ones

minotaur also has that magic hitbox a few feet past his axe blades that always catch you when you dodge backwards

The comment that the Stormfiend is an asshole and runs away unlike his Skaven brethren is a strange one, since that is what all Skaven are known for.

I'd rate the storm fiend higher. Storm fiends, as stated, are complete assholes. The number of times I've seen them jump out of the map to be out of range when the party is mostly melee fighters is terrible. Even if you have a team with ranged weapons not everyone is always bounty hunter or engie (who even plays engie anyways, he kinda sucks).

Imo The most usless you can feel in this game is when playing a melee career vs a stormfiend you get close, circle jerk him a bit then he kb's you puts fire on his flanks then runs away 🙃

Not sure how troll and storm fiend are harder than ratogre (unless u play true solo of course), since eighter their head is easier to hit (T) or their attacts are easier to dogde than RO (both), but i can Imagine health regen and HP amount doing the difference in solo run

Anyone can help me get loadout manager to work properly? I subsribed on the mode in the approvede section of the workshop on steam but is the only mode that seems to not work for me? Any idea how to solve this problem? Thks in advance have a nice day everyone.

you can dodge dance the chaos spawn indefinitely as well it's just very hard
