Vermona PERfourMER MKII polyphony 

For me this is one of the greatest videos of a synth performance on RU-vid. Superb mate.

I love Vermona products and this'd be my dream synth. Vermona is a small company but they make their synths by all handmade. Vermona sounds probably great as Moog.

Hi CrazyHorse Thanks for watching and the comment! I am just working on a few projects and will get some footage up when I get the chance. I was on the fence about getting one. You could get a Prophet '08 for the same price and would probably have more functionality. However, there was something that drew me in about the PERfourMER. I like the filters compared to the later Prophets. You can get some more vintage sounds due to the controls for each voice. Sounds more drifty which gives it more character. Some may correct me on it but I think that it can sound like a Jupiter in some ways. I don't mind the syncing of settings between voices. You can sync the LFO between them too. This make it a little easier. I find you can get more creative when you don't have the presets in front of you. I don't own any analogs that map controls to one pot or have presets. I find more sounds this way and its more fun! I will get some more footage up when I can. Is there anything in particular that you want to see? PS. I accidentally click on your comment as spam and don't see a way to reverse it. I read online that it sound't affect anything unless a bunch of people. Sorry :P

Nice nice nice! Dramatic chords. This is a deep machine, even when the channels alone are quite simple. Haven't touched the surface yet, myself.

you 're so right. perfoumer's video on you tube are only about effects. in this video we hear the polyphony of the instrument.

BEAUTIFUL!!!! I'm a fan of the Oberheim 4-Voice but I cannot afford one. This is the closest true analog versions I've come across and it looks as though a few problems may have been solved on this one.

Nice vid! I'm glad I came across this. Yeah, not many poly vids with it. I subscribed to your channel since you seem to be actively posting vids with the PerFourmer. I'm fairly new to synths, but I have a tough time getting the sounds I'm after compared to my SE-1X & Minitaur. I'm looking forward to more vids as I'll be using them as tutorials.

Hi, nice video, great sound ! Do you programme all the 4 synth on the same midi channel or with different channel ? Because i don't understand how you build the sequence, i just see on all your video you choose the P1 mode. Thanks

So you set up each synth on a separate midi channel and feed the midi into the unit through tracks in your DAW?

Absolutely fantastic! One question, could you make a video with some different pads in it from the perfourmer? I'm looking for a analog poly synth, especially for SFX and Pads. I have heard enough SFX coming from the perfourmer, but no clear pads yet. Hope you can help me out!

Hi, Would you mind posting more PerFourmer videos? I am not sure whether or not I should buy one. I'm not a huge fan of other polyphon analogs since most map multiple parameters to a dial and I just hate it. I prefer the controlls of (for example) the sub phatty, where every dial controlls one parameter. Nice video btw.

hi, i just got my perfourmer a few days ago- your videos were the main reason behind it- and i'm wondering if you can fill me in on how you sequenced this polyphonically. i've got an arturia beatstep which i use as a sequencer, but it only lets me input one note per step. i've also got logic, which i see you mention in the comments below, but not sure, again, how to do it polyphonically. any advice would be greatly appreciated.

This sounds glorious.. Looking forward to getting one, but I'm still a little confused about how the PERfourMER is sequenced. I'm still waiting for my Cirklon (hardware sequencer) which will arrive late summer, I stopped working with Ableton, will there be another way to sequence this synth? Like program/record parts into it? Or does it have to have an ongoing sequence feeding it? (i.e. wait for my Cirklon)

Seriously considering buying one of these - any downside to the instrument? There's always pro's and con's to every synth just wondering what are the weak areas if any of this synth?
