The original was about an abusive ex boyfriend that wanted to get his gf back (his gf broke up with him because he pressured her into murdering multiple people) and Veronica (the gf) wouldn’t open the door because she knew he was bad and she shouldn’t talk to him so he opened it anyway and she had faked her dead and he said he was gonna kill her anyway himself, then in the end she managed to stop him from blowing up the school and instead he commit suicide by blowing himself up So basically the original was a lot scarier since the girl version is just sounding like she’s seducing someone

Especially when you name is Weronika

His has more emotion which it seems is meant to be in it rather than be scary. She had a nice version, but no really emotion

The original is from Heathers the Musical and the meaning of this song is HORRIFIC! He is trying to manipulate her into b0mb!ng a school and when he opens the door he finds Veranica h@nging

Technically if you don’t know the character singing in the original, you’d probably think it’s just some maniac boyfriend. I still think JD is more terrifying. He’s manipulative throughout the entire movie, musical, and song. The song goes from insane to a sweet melody to straight up murder confessions.

You can search up the original song here on RU-vid. It's called "Meant to be Yours", and is from the musical Heathers. The original SHOULD come up first, but in case it doesn't for you, the cover will have three girls clad in yellow, red, and green monochromatic outfits, with all of them holding croquet mallets.
