I one time held the number 1 spot on PSN leaderboards for like 2 day on Der Reise. Did the round skipping glitch right when it was discovered and got to like 2143 or some shit like that, had to leave my ps3 running for like 2 days or something and had to angle a TV remote on my controller to keep myself constantly spinning lmao. It was quickly overtaken obviously🤣
I'm approaching 40 years old. I've been an OG Zombies guy since I was in college and I still play to this day. The number of hours I have in Der Riese and Origins is unwieldy and I still can't come close to many of these high round records. It makes me happy to see these folks still posting records and breaking new ground in Zombies. I would pay good money to watch Zombies become it's own game, because honestly, this is a "3rd game mode" that has created its very own subculture that will in all probability outlive all of us. You got yourself a subscriber dude, keep em coming!
Thanks for sharing, I'm 27 and I love to hear from older (than me)fans. A solo zombies game has been a pipe dream of mine since I first started playing in WAW zombies. Zombies for life brother 🫡
@@reaper_suicide993gaming5bro even after like round 22 Im already bored lmao. Thats the thing with zombies for me, it starts out really fun but gets boring af later on
@@RatedRRaj What maps get boring at 22? Maybe most of like the basic maps from like WaW or Bo1, but like Bo3 or Bo2 gets more fun after you get set up personally.
@@OpticHamster69 well for one the zombies can run way faster if George does the magic staff thingy. And the map itself . And if someone accidentally shoots or fucks with George he comes charging .
@@Kory_Landry if you’re a fan of ambient pads and wanna give some Jungle/dnb stuff a swing boogie over my way 😅also if you’re a fan of HOME check out Axl Rhodes they’re cool and got some great chillsynth tunes
This will probably be a controversial statement, but it's truth: Considering that the game effectively hits its hardest point by round 163, and then rolls over and starts fluctuating between difficulty values lower than that -- I can't imagine grinding past that point. You're not doing anything harder or 'new' at that point, its just a mindless, /zombie/-like grind. Then it only becomes a test of how much time one is willing to spend from their lifespan doing the same thing over and over to make the round number go up. I wouldn't feel good about it, or like I've really achieved anything further, past round 163. I'd way rather hit 163, then stop and compete on a zombies map/game where the difficulty continues increasing, and every round is actually a further achievement of skill/difficulty. IMO, anyone who hit round 163 is about equally impressive to round 3000, or 20,000. It doesn't really matter past that point.
That is very true lol but you also do have to keep in mind that the runners have to always be conscious of glitches in the game and/or when the zombies are insta kill and when they are not. Totally get it tho Im def not a high round type of guy 😂
I remember a 4 player strat my friends and I would use is the juggernog side spawn buys ALL the way to power, then the group reunites and buys all the way around to the thompson room WITHOUT buying the last door. You buy bouncing betties, place them in the back of the room for insurance (8 betties each round add up), and hold off in the back. If they get to close, fall back to the betty barrier, blow them up, and continue.
Verruckt has always landed in my top 5 zombies map both for its difficulty and atmosphere. The claustrophobic layout matched with the intense speeds the zombies pursue you with have always triggered my "challenge accepted" part of my head. Also I remember when I first discovered Nazi Zombies as bonus content in WaW it felt so surreal. Playing a round based zombie survival game after the campaign was a massive what the fuck, and then Treyarch releases a DLC with a new map based off of this bonus game mode that was gaining popularity. Verruckt felt like a weird portal that added extra dimensions both with its map design, perks and turning on the power; it enhanced the element of what-the-fuckness to this newly discovered bonus mode that was very fun to play.
My highest round back in the 360 days was around 68 on verruckt. And it was a journey and a half with getting yelled at by my family to shut up at 9 am when we finished from 12pm the previous day. Took nap break for like 10 minutes thinking it was like 4 hour nap but it was insane because the main guy helping get to high rounds passed out at his window . Then woke up got killed , respawned hit the box and got ray gun when getting a crawler and lasted 5 more rounds with it . The staminup cheese was fun .
I am no high rounding genius lol, but I did do my research and BO2 does indeed have insta kill rounds between Rounds 223-255. they are actually called "True Insta Kill Rounds" as i am pretty sure literally anything could kill them
I can't believe I just recently played this round again yesterday and got to round 22 (is that good or considered well in this map?) and a video about it came out sdjfjsdf love me some more Zombies content ofc!
I started running Verrückt high rounds, this video inspired me, it is hard! All my runs end in death, not suicide or boredom, done about 20-25 attempts and my highest is 66!
Solo this map can be rough, but with a team high rounds were easy, quick revive side turns power on, jug side opens 1 door only, 2 cover the window 2 hug the wall past the trap and all zombies coming up the stairs line up perfectly on the wall making headshots easy to keep up. Plus the 3rd weapon glitch with mines made it even easier, never met a person intimidated by this map before seeing this video
One of my favorite maps of all time. My friend and i used to do the barrier glitch where you could lag switch out of the map and it was the coolest thing ever at the time. We were 12 lol
Man you do know there was many cheaters even back then. There was a few glitches people did from simple sitting in a spot to killing themselves in a coop game at any spot, coming back to live and sitting by double tap to make the zomgoes pile up whoever they died, I can go on man, been at zomvkes since day 1, trained many I mean zombie players even famous ones, know all the tricks etc and I can tell you right now most of them cheated their recordeds and some went back to do them right after they got actually good and got enough attention etc etc. Remember no one will remember thay one guy that helped you geg real good at zombies if that person is hella quiet etc
A minute and 30 seconds is how long it took for a huge error saying that bo2 had instakill rounds but other than that i really loved this video and cool little edits, good work! looking forward to your content
Thanks for the compliment homie 💙 , BO2 did actually have insta kill rounds tho, search it up. From rounds 223-255 I believe, these are actually "true insta kill rounds" because of literally anything killing them, even running them through fire on Tranzit
Been playing since mw3 never knew there were instakill rounds. However makes sense my highest round was 53 on kino in bo1. Also how do these guys go for so many rounds i get bored by round 30 and just mindlessly run and gun hoping i die
I don’t know if the perks were originally released with the map like you say I believe that was shi no numa i might be wrong since it’s been so long but I think I’m right
Man ill say this here like I have many other videos, its the first KNOWN the first PUBLIC, the first ONLINE round 100 etc etc. You need to remember many people played offline mode and still do to this day
@@Death-_-machine A early version of Black Ops 2 did include insta kill rounds, it required some weird process involving split screen however it did at one point during the games life
