I added a lend a hand to mine for the hydraulic lines going to test it this year should help out the stack coupler situation. Also adding a 3rd hydraulic 3/4 coupler set, Yeah they are a pretty decent tractor with a few downfalls! Did you ever find out if you could run the hydraulics through a viper4? I read a rumor someone had figured it out. Did you happen to get the transmission calibrated yet?
Yes I did find out, it is possible but not simple or cheap. Requires all sorts of x-over cables and engine/computer programming. I talked with Matt Yannik from MY precision ag and he gave me the lowdown on it. Sounded very time consuming and laborious. Was another $30k on top of the cost of the whole raven system. We didn’t calibrate it yet. That’s a bit of a story… lol. Was gonna get it done during COVID but you know what that is like. Kinda fell through the cracks, just had the versatile guys out the other day but apparently it’s a job that’s best done when the transmission is up to temperature and working in the field so we’ll see how things go during seeding we might get it dialed in
@@AxiomAcres holy and a viper 4 is 23 grand already when Jeff quoted for me ! That's steep 50ish grand to be using one screen yikes. Guess I'll be keeping the old style screen

@@AxiomAcres I'm not familiar with all the terminology, but to clarify, like how you can turn a car's steering wheel without moving the vehicle, I'm wondering if you can steer an articulated tractor when it's stationary, or if it requires movement to maneuver?
Gotcha! Yes you can. It’s a hydraulic power steering, on top of that the axel differential allows each side to turn differently of each other. So as long as the engine is running it can be articulated
