Wanderer being part of the Sumeru gang is going to be very interesting to see, considering he's never gotten any interaction with anyone of them aside from Nahida, so very excited for this new event!
I'd like to know how introductory phase went because after the irminsul wipe _noone_ know who he is. Besides nahida and traveler he's just a random dude that's wearing a funny hat
@@farhanatashiga3721 im curious because people of sumeru amd everyone knows and clearly mentioned that they tried to create a false god n kept nahida imprisoned. Its just that they dont know who the wanderer is or who was that false god. And fatui doesn't know about their 6th harbinger or any such experiment.
It looked INCREDIBLE!! Same level of archon quest cutscenes wow, The 3.6 main event must be big then, they really do love Sumeru, still getting new areas even in 3.6, wish Inazuma got this treatment rip...
Scara finally finding his place where he isn’t used 🥺 his lore has always been my favorite because of his character’s development. Can’t wait to see his interaction with the rest of the Sumeru gang!
Finally. These moments are actually for some reason always weird for me. The fact that there has been a character for a long time, than he suddenly appears.
I am so excited to see how Wanderer interacts with other characters since we only really see him with Nahida. I can imagine Cyno trying to lighten the mood with jokes and Scara either surprisingly enjoying them or getting extremely annoyed and insulting him like he does with everyone else.
1:17 1:41 I’ll never get over how Genshin time and time again always nails the transitions between the story content of the trailer to the characters. It’s just so smooth and well made!
i cant wait to see more of Kaveh’s personality and how he interacts with other people! so far we’ve only really seen him talking with Alhaitham so we only know his bitter salty side lol- i want to see his kind-hearted and artistic side too
that last part with kaveh, cyno, scara, layla and faruzan with al haitham narrating looks extremely interesting, fun and exciting XD like they playing some sort of game with each other good to see scara fitting right in to the sumeru crew lol and the new area and more teyvat history lore...glad for more scara and nahida content this patch looks fire.
SAMMEEE. I absolutely LOVE all of Sumeru's characters so far. Like genuinely everyone has been designed so greatly and with so much personality. I'm so excited for Nahida and Scara content cause honestly I've never been so invested in the games lore aside from them.
Everytime I wonder how Hoyo is able to produce such beautiful music and songs, you would think that after some time they would drop in quality or sound repetitive and yet Baizhu and Kaveh themes are so wonderful and different from one another, I swear even the fighting music at the end was chef kiss.
I agree, you can never be disappointed with music in Genshin Impact. Even more impressive, the battle theme for the Dendro Dragon was leaked back in version 2.6, a year ago, as a Chasm battle theme. They added some Sumeru vibes to it and finally added it to the game! It's even more impressive to see how the composer is able to make the atmosphere of the game and the soundtrack match
Just wanted to say that name of one of the NPCs in this event is "Bahar" and it means spring (season) since this event will be held this season it's so fitting. Thank you hoyo for making these detailed aspects❤ Also that floating companion's name is "Soroush" (if I'm not wrong). it has several meanings and one of them is "Angelic Messenger"
with nahida getting her second story quest, Im just growing more convinced that mhy is gatekeeping Venti’s part 2 bc his lore is one of the most important
I wouldn't be surprised. I have hope we'll go back to mondstadt at some point in the story since there's so much lore yet to be explored in the archon quest, plus venti is a very interesting character. I'm sure mondstadt's/venti's story isn't over yet.
Finally! I can meet Nahida again. Also the new boss looks promising. I hope we got something special in this version. Not to mention, Wanderer vs Cyno! So excited! Good luck everyone on your pull and for me also ;)
Nahida somehow shape or form convinced Scara to join in this Sumeru insanity and I'm living for it. Edit: Let's be real though, we're all very proud of him for coming out and enjoying the fun even if he's still a little gremlin. He's getting his development.

When i saw the part with Kaveh, Cyno, Wanderer, and Faruzan i immediately was so excited!!! I was anticipating a Faruzan and Wanderer interaction, actually 😭😭😭
I can't wait for the lore. I hope they go in-depth about the seven dragon sovereigns since the Enkanomiya book didn't give a lot of information and information about the sovereigns could give information about celestia. Khaenri'ah lore is also a bug bonus. But the real bonus is the primogems
Speaking of Enkanomiya, I just completed the world quest chain there and a ton of other quests over there. Also unlocked Coral Defenders to level Yae at long last.
@@laurencedioscorides6551 I doubt it. The seven dragon Sovereigns were from before the primordial one, let alone Zhongli and Azhdaha was only given dragon form by Zhongli during the archon war
@@justsomeguywithoutamustach3978 Maybe the Primordial One turned Azdaha into that circle state in order to seal him. During the Archon War, Azdaha returned to his dragon state and Morax gave him eyes.

Also, some insane theory: judging by how these dragons talks about themselves, Nahida and other Archons, maybe these are remnants of Sovereign Dragons, that ruled Teyvat before The Primordial One and Celestia came...

And I also don't think that Wanderer wanna wear outfit, that resembles him as a Harbinger and his time in Fatui, as he broke all contacts with it and everyone in Fatui literally forgot him
OMG the boss fighting's theme at 1:10 and Baizhu's theme at 1:27 ARE SO FREAKING AWESOMEEEEE And yes I almost forgot, Kaveh's theme IS SO FREAKING AWESOME TOO Hoyoverse really did great with the music in version trailer this time!!
Baizhu sounds so freaking fruitty... and I'm all in for it. Also, I don't get why people are so disappointed with his burst animation, I think it fits him so much that it is so pretty.
and his burst is boring as hell. they literally just reused shenhe's animation. for a character people have been waiting for for well over TWO YEARS, they didn't even TRY to make him unique or interesting. his attacks are plain, his gameplay is plain, his kit is plain, his burst is plain. it's BORING. especially when you compare him to the last three catalysts we've gotten - scaramouche (may he die soon), nahida and heizou have all been revolutionary and new. baizhu is... diona 2.0. yippee.

If you know Baizhu's lore, then you know why they decided to give him a acupuncture attack animation because he's a doctor? And of course giving him the calm and subtle burst animation considering that he's freaking sick? What, you expect him to use Changsheng as a whip slash, or do an exhibition or something? Gurl.
@@erxs We've had one character in Genshin whose skill works by attacking enemies to heal, and that's Kaeya. Furthermore, there aren't that many shield and heal characters at C0.
2:20 Little detail I noticed here but Kaveh looks like he's holding his side, wincing from pain. Did he purposefully get attacked in the middle of the Cyno vs Wanderer fight (notice how Wanderer turns to see) just to propel himself even further than he already was with Faruzan's arrow? Well, Mehrak doesn't look happy about that Edit: With the 3rd Act for the Parade of Providence event released, I can say that I was right (kinda)! In the full cutscene, Wand- I meant Hat Guy DID attack/propel Kaveh purposefully away from him however, in a way, he did help Kaveh win
Honestly seeing a bit more of dark things in the game and Lore the more it goes makes me very happy. Also seeing Wanderer and all the others together makes me happy as well, I really want to see if he makes other friends. Seeing Kaveh with Wanderer and Faruzan plus him and Faruzan apparently helping Kaveh is something I didn't know I needed, if they become friends it's unexpected but I love the idea and I can't wait to see it. My question is more towards the "what did they do to make Cyno attack them?" even if it could be that Cyno isn't actually the one doing that, maybe he's under control of something or maybe it's some kind of game/challenge? Considering the commentary and kinda cheerful music it feels like a friendly race or something but it's also weird to see Cyno attack them if this is supposed to be a friendly race/challenge. Still I love the idea of Wanderer being friend of Faruzan, Kaveh and maybe even Cyno. Considering how "annoying" they can be (from Wanderer point of view) they would definetely work as friends as the 3 chaotic people (two being loud/talking a lot and one full of bad jokes) plus the one guy who kinda hates everything XD Edit: I just noticed Layla to be honest since she wasn't really doing anything (not as in saying that she was being useless, more like they didn't animate her trying to help so I didn't see her until I watched the scene again) and probably she would be the only one he have a neutral or nice voiceline about since she's quiet XD
yeah, it's cool that they're starting to get more into the gritty/dark parts of the story. i've enjoyed the lore from the beginning, but since we've always known there's a lot more darkness than was initially given to us, this is a lot more interesting and it feels like we're finally learning important things since sumeru
@@neero9127 I think they are most likely playing a game because of the funny/cheerful music, Cyno speaking as if he is a broadcaster etc. but at the same time it's weird that he's attacking them if it's just a game since usually there aren't such "violent" games if they made a event, but it's also true they are all adults there so it wouldn't be weird if their way of playing some game is a bit more "aggressive". I still think it's a game for sure but it will be revealed only after it comes out.
@@kellbear23 Yeah, I really enjoy dark stuff and creepy atmosphere and I have to say Genshin does give the eerie atmosphere really well and I love the way they are going deeper in this "rabbit hole", hope they will keep every Quest like this in the future because it definetely feels like Teyvat will go against a bigger and scarier war against Celestia, some kind of "humanity is at risk" kind of war but that's mostly a personal theory that I have not really something implied in the Lore. I just think/theorize that the consequences for stealing all the Gnosis is a end of the world scenario by the hands of the Gods which of course get avoided (or maybe not but it wouldn't be that good either) thanks to the Traveler, but more the siblings that you don't choose at the start will sacrifice themself. In the original version of the game intro the twin you didn't choose died at the start because of the Unknown God and it was a story about revenge, however that was changed. Still it doesn't mean that they will never use it, they might have decided that it's best to keep it for the end of the game since after all they must have to do something to make the sibling stay in Teyvat and at most go into the Celestia but there you can't use your characters (at least I feel like they should do that) aside Traveler or the Archons (even if I doubt they would like to go there) because not everyone can simply walk in Celestia. Sorry, I kinda wrote a bit too much because I started talking about my theories😅
The lore of the game is already really dark, it's just that MHY never focuses them fully (and for good reason, since imagine the "backlash" if idiots knew that Enkanomiya is built upon the sacrifices if children burnt in their sun).

She will probably have a Rerun in 3.8, where she will be reintroduced also there is an Event in 3.8 that has Eula, Amber and Klee as Main Protagonists, so yeah expect her in 3.8.
In my opinion this is the best genshin trailer. Baizhu is finally out! Kaveh caught Faruzan's arrow very epic. It's just a pity that Baizhu will have to wait even longer, he will be in the second half of the update
Cyno and Wanderer fighting, Faruzan and Layla wondering wth is going on, Kaveh flying through the air for no apparent reason and Alhaitham's deadpanned voice is just pure comedic chaos. Also, I'm scared.
I’m so excited! My boy, Kaveh will finally be here🎉 Ok but also Wanderer interacting with the other characters is going to be really fun. I really hope they all get along. And then there’s Kaveh being the clever man of wisdom that he is winning the game at the last second thanks to Faruzan. Some may call him stupid but he really isn’t. He just thinks outside of the box.

HOLY SH- baizhu's theme song SLAPS! Also layla, kaveh, cyno, faruzan, and wanderer at the end was a nice touch-seeing how all their skills react with one another. Also mutated hillichurls and abyssal creatures?! awesome update.

I'm excited for the lore drop abt teyvat's history. Also the apocalypse. This might be the involvement of the abyss to the dragon sovereigns.
