I haven't played that much with Genshin during the update other than speeding through events. there hasn't been a lot at all so I totally get what you're saying, and tbh when I played Cloud Retainer's quest I was so incredibly bored and disappointed with the story telling it was like a chore to skip through, so I get it. Don't force yourself to play the game! we will be waiting here when you decide to upload it again!! Plus, as the upcoming patches come out it will be a bit more worthwhile to play the game, especially with Natlan coming. I do think the other story quests were decent/interesting, but definitely don't force yourself to play them and just go at your own pace!
Level 90 and friendship level 8? Imaginarium Theater is true end game content. Spiral Abyss doesn’t have any requirements other than completing the level that came before it
Between Nilou and Navia, I would always recommend Navia coz one, Nilou can only be played with hydro and dendro characters exclusively otherwise her kit wouldnt work, meanwhile Navia can be played in practically any team since geo is a "neutral" element like anemo. Two, Navia is a lot easier to play and do consistent damage without any fancy mechanics, you can of course min max her combos to do the biggest damage but it's not a big deal unless you're doing the hardest content. I'm aware of this stigma that players have on geo characters but Navia is an exception, to start she's not a DEF scaling character like the other geo dps are, she's an ATK scaler, and she doesnt need other geo characters in her team to work, it's actually the other way around, she wants other elements except geo in her party.
Oh, imo don't feel pressure to make content about game that you don't want to play, if you don't feel like playing Genshin just don't do it for now. I know you attribute to Xianyun story quest but it's probably just straw on the camel. If you felt like playing it one story quest would not be make or break, if you don't then it is easy for any content make you repulse
I kind of feel the same that you do about Genshin. I'm still on 4.1 archon quest and still have quite a few character story quests plus lots of world quests and hangout that I need to do but it's been not as much fun lately. Lately it's just been doing dailies and the events. Been spending way more playing Honkai Star Rail. It's just way better in almost everything and much more enjoyable. You play what you want to play. I'll always be here to support you. Take playing Genshin at your own pace. I'll continue to watch whenever you decide to upload.
Honestly, the only thing that pushed me to play that last patch was because I wanted Clorinde. I explored Fontaine as if it had just been released...and then I got Qiqi-ed at 80 pity lol. And then Sigewinne had the audacity to come home early. Anyway, I'm most excited to see how Wanderer got roped into that summer event as well as the outfits. I don't think I'll be able to get Nilou's but at least we get to admire it during the event story right?😭Lets hope you manage to get her this time!
Mish will you try ZZZ? IMO if you dont feel like playing Genshin for a while, just dont, its very understandable after 3 years playing to not feel like it, specially for non-main quest stuff. I'm only just loging in to get the welkin these days and thats it😂
lowkey, i like Emilie's polearm, but from her attire, her looks, her demeanour, her skills and how the polearm actually looks...they could have made it a magic wand at this point lol. I mean Fontaine was all about fairy tales..why stop that trope at Melusines only. There are mentions of lady of the lake and Loch-knights(Furina's weapon description mainly) ..I lowkey wished they made a 'human fairy" playable character OR someone who descended from the Loch-knights..I hope Furina's story quest 2 at least delves into this, as her weapon, was literally used by the last leader of the Loch-knights..and there is a prophecy associated with it, that the one who wields it again shall be seven time more virtuous than Erinnyes the hero herself...it seems too big and Furina might need something like this more than ever now that she has started on her journey as herself this time. PS- I agree, i also feel Navia's outfit is too cluttered.
Later stories quests aren't that much better tbh, there are some unique mechanics to some that's all. Best advice is to mainly do archon quest related characters and skip everyone unless you like the character.
Wich is weird cause they were starting to get good at the end of Sumeru and start of Fontaine, then they are back to the old almost sleep inducing style
Hahaha i see I'm not the only one that barely played the game this patch, idk what it is but after Sumeru the patches have been feeling super boring and 'empty' unless it's a region or story one
