Verstappen is rigght. Total Dick move by Hamilton. Classic overshoot of attacking car, where the defender can brake just bit longer and crossover to the inside line and regain position. Lewis being Lewis, intentionally drove into the BACK of the RedBull on nearly INSIDE of the track. If Lewis claims it went all so quick, it means they need to strip him from his super license, since that means he no longer able to process standard race situations quickly enough. And thus a danger to other drivers (with seeing how often Lewis has crashed others, maybe a understatement). However, as most of us know, Lewis races under different set of rules and regulation. Only Lewis is not required to take avoiding action, no matter how super easy it was to avoid the contact.

I can’t agree more. That is why it’s stupid not to punish him. FIA always overindulges ob Verstappen, that is why he drives like this. But… glad, dirty Max is back. Gonna be a fun season with some more incidents.
I mean, not ALWAYS, be he has matured into one. @@buhaysabulod9269honestly m8 lewis did verstappen a favour by saying that was a racing incident considering all the other things that went wrong for red bull and verstappen in that race from start to finish 🤣
Remember what lead up to the incident. Max couldn’t pass Lewis and got frustrated. The. He dive-bombed to the inside of the corner carrying too much speed. Lewis slowed and let him go by but clipped max’s left rear tire. That incident happened because Max got frustrated because he was unable to pass Lewis. He expects everyone back out or give way to his tactics. He threatens to run you off the track. The FIA created this by allowing him to behave this way. He is the only one that drives this way and then he blames Lewis.
Of course, Max is never in the wrong. What a baby and egoist. It's a right turn, of course you have to turn right. But you don't have to dive bomb the corner. It has desperation written all over it.
I’m completely unbiased. But clearly this is (again) Max’s fault. He was never making that corner on the inside. He’s a bully on the track when he’s not winning. Starting to really dislike him after loving him for so long. Hope he loses the championship now.
@SuperDukes18 as a die hard Hamilton fan. We told you so. Saudi 21 was a disgrace to the sport. 2 tbone attempts and the brake check. Max one day will lose his cool completely and I just worry about the other drivers safety in that scenario. I think he's gonna really really hurt someone because he's morally bankrupt.
I have stopped being interested in F1 since Lewis was robbed of the championship and Red Bull and their driver became so dominant I watched the Hungarian GP as soon as I knew the result and surprise surprise when no longer so dominant what as changed from 3 years ago Red Bull you have a number of issues I would have also thought that serious attention should be be paid to the comment made about how things will now be following a decision made about their driver being forced off the circuit
Shocking how you are only NOW seeing just how pathetic Chrashtappen is and has long been. Max got to understand he don't have the fastest car anymore and he maybe a world champion but he is still Max who thinks he is the only driver on track.
Now lets look closely at this. How come all of a sudden RB is not an out and out dominant machine? No ways. This sport is not clean. People are fiddling around for views and bets. I suspect the teams are required to PAY for favourable decisions. Look at Aston Martin. Remember when they were eating up the track? Now? Nothing. Pockets arent deep enough. Ecclestone knew how to spin all of the nonsense so we were kept in the dark. Liberty media however needs to show their investors huge profits. That means controversy. No matter what it means for the credibility of the sport. I think they have done it many times in the U.S. They didnt know that F1 fans are quite precious about the sport. It wont last. Every pundit, fan, and just plain eye sight can see Verstappen was wrong. He always has excuses. He is lucky again FIA didnt hand him a grid drop for the next race. Every pundit on tv said it was a slam dunk penalty coming his way.
In this case, I blame Lewis for the FIA not giving Max a penalty. Next time he should keep mute about his judgement in post-race interviews and let's see what the FIA does to Max.
I would think the only reason Max didn't get a penalty is because he was the one to lose a position with that move, while Lewis made it out unscathed. I'm pretty sure that had Lewis' car been damaged in the collision, he definitely would've wanted Max to be penalized.
@@lacko623 Agreed. However, in any environment where splitting hairs on issues is a norm, Lewis's statement gave FIA Stewards an easy way out. Why drag the issue when a) the victim is willing to let it go, and b) as you rightly said, instant karma has occurred?

It's unfortunate because he is genuinely very skilled in actual racecraft.

Hamilton was generous for calling it a racing incident. Verstapen was never going to make that corner. Hamilton turned in thinking that he would just go wide and he will take the inside lane, but Verstapen kept his foot on the break to almost stopping that is why they collided.
There's always a fine line between rash driving and driving fast. You've got to stay in that line. Once you cross it you become reckless. Max is clearly at fault in this one. You've got to agree. In no way I'm saying he's a bad driver. He's infact one of the finest out there. But sometimes he gets a bit too aggressive and things get out of control.
he´s driving fine as long as he´s winning in championship .. now that the competition is starting to catch up due to worse car performance he started to drive dirty again just to keep ahead.. if FIA won´t do something with it i think we´ll see more and more extremely aggresive moves from his side possibly even causing crashes again to prevent Lando from scoring in later races

The whole world kinda agree with the fact that it's Max's fault. Even his race engineer says so. Called him being childish or something if I'm not wrong.
What am I missing here? The ruling states that THE DRIVER BEING OVER TAKEN MUST LEAVE A CAR WIDTH FOR THE CAR PASSING! Only question here is, was there a cars width from the edge of the apex of the corner? There is clearly a huge space to overtake if Max hadn’t out braked himself, another case of poor judgement and NOT applying the correct ruling by the stewards.
I don't understand why Norris was asked to give P1 up TP Piastri. What points difference would that make to the constructor's championship? It was the pitstop strategy that caused the situation, nothing else.
Lewis was turnning because he was at the corner. He left almost 2 cars width. The reason Max never made the corner was becuse he was way too fast. This is evident by the gap between him and the apex. He will never admit he is in the wrong. He has less sportsmanship tham Maradonna. I just wish be had wrecked the car.
Max was just too aggressive and didnt think twice before making a move which led to a dangerous move due to hunger of winning. The outside move would've been better
As brutal as McLaren’s strategy was today (they’re my team), dealing with Lando’s feelings is much better than what’s going on over at Red Bull right now.
I think Norris should have let Piastri pass immediately he was asked and with fifteen or so laps to go he could legitimately have gone racing and overtaken his team mate for the second win. No controversy!!!
Verstappen brings excitement F1 wants - loved or hated - people want drama. Fans should cut him some slack as long as he doesn't cause injuries to other drivers. But, FIA needs to fix its image of being too lenient with Max.
I think the most amazing part of this race is how Hamilton's car drove away with virtually no real damage and Max almost so.. As for Lando.. That is legit BS.. Fk the teams when it comes to individual success when deserving.. I realize the politics but it is a big ask to give up 1st place.. That isn't true racing IMO..
Just like SLH said. Max was faster and would have made the corner if he did not lock up. Max came in with too much speed and could not control the car anymore. Locking up means one cannot turn the car anymore. It was clearly Max's mistake. He tried to force the overtake but we all know SLH will not give in and will hold his line. The decision of the stewards was not the right one because we know what will happen the next time when these two will meet again, particularly with Max getting more and more desperate not winning 'freely' anymore.
I don’t understand why the Stewart didn’t give Max a penalty when he hit Hamilton‘s car it was definitely Max’s fault. He does that stuff all the time.
I am Dutch and take pride in some of the victories. Max made the impossible possible but his driving road rage is a menace on the track and puts everyone at life treatening risk. His arrogance blinds his perspective and i think Christian Hornor just about had enough of his lies becuase everyone knows he was the one making the mistake here on Lewis. Team Red Bul made a tactical mistake though in which it is understood why Max goes on a rampage while loosing emotional control on the failures which others make. In the long run, rage isnt justified because it will always injust actions accross those who had nothing to do with the inciting of anger in the first place. Norris was pushed of track, DNF! 2 races ago. Max can be glad he was able to finnish 5th which is more then he could hope for. Piastri making his first win is under debate as well. McLaren stole 6 chamionship points from Lando while doing so. While they knew Max pushed him off track they should have let him win de GP instead of giving free cake to Piastri. Not like i do not want Piastri to reach his first REAL GP win. One wins by racing....not by screwlike team politics which seems like some dictator who runs the show in the background. It was clearly seen on their faces.....both Lando and Oscar where not happy with their team manager. If by the end of the racing season Lando comes up short on 6 points to win the Chamionship.......there is going to be massive consequenses and they will loose Lando 100%. Big CHeer for the man of the match though. Perez obviously cut back his losses while ending up 7th from 16th pole. Hamilton solid race! podium 200!! W T G!
Hamilton was not at fault in this incident Max is just spitting his dummy. Have you not noticed Max always acts like this when things do not go his way.
