Terminator vs. Predator is one of those fights that is so fair it's very hard to call. It was entirely possible for it to go the other way.

Something I really like about this matchup is that you're using a specific predator instead of a composite predator that takes different aspects from other. This is a common problem I see in other VS channels like Death Battle and 1fishmob who seem to jumble up different predator feats into one predator. It entirely depends on which predator you use for the matchup, and I think Scar from AvP was a good and well balanced choice for a Predator vs Terminator matchup.

Fun fact: Stan Winston and James Cameron actually created the Predator. James Cameron came up with the mandibles for the creature but Stan Winston designed it. Who knew the people behind the terminator franchise and Aliens movie would create such an awesome creature?

I love this match up but I agree a predator would win but let's get into why, first of predators have shown they can bend steel and lets not forget the material predators use in their armor and weapons is alot more durable than any earth metal and yes a terminator can scan it's terrains so can a predator with its bio mask also the predators have a wide range of weaponry that counters what the terminator brings to the fight.

Only complaint, is that these are the tools a predator would bring on the hunt. Against a Terminator, it's WAR, and have no idea what the Yautja weapons of war are like.

The Terminator wouldn't be standing still while scar tries to rip it's head off, it would probably throw scar off or use it's incredible strength to either punch a hole in scar or break his neck

Predator sees temperatures and would see the advanced hydrogen fuel cells at the T-800's core and would have used its shoulder Cannon to explode the terminator . The fight would never have happened for this reason alone . You looked to deeply into this analysis... without remembering the Predator's actual abilities.

Sorry I’m late. Scar would definitely tear a T-800 apart. This video is the one video that made my whole week. I just don’t see the terminator winning here. Strength is comparable, both of them can surely punch through a 1 inch layer of steel, both have durability, and both have the power to rip heads clean off. The T-800 can’t learn anything beyond its programming, which is one weakness, while the predator can adapt and learn quickly. Scar is one intelligent Predator, even more so than his brothers and many more out there. Scar can definitely adapt to his opponent and jump back in the game with a different tactic, that’s what these terminator underestimate about Predators. A terminator can impale him, but that won’t stop scar from trying to kill him. Scar has been impaled by an alien near the chest, and Scar managed to do a 15 foot jump and shank the queen alien’s head afterwards. Very well done. You earned a like and a subscriber!

I have to disagree with that outcome since Arnold killed the predator before anyway. In all seriousness though i doubt that the predator would have been able to survive more damage than the terminator and the terminator has much faster reflexes than Scar so any hand to hand combat would be pretty damn difficult for him especially considering the greater strength of the Terminator.

In melee, Pred is just outclassed by a mile. As for the termy outshooting the pred? "I don't know...with these weapons ...I don't know...". Would be good to see how the termy fares at ranged using a phased plasma rifle in 40-watt range.

And the weaponry section shouldn’t even be here because it’s not talking about Terminator weapons at all. It’s talking about human weapons versus Predator weapons. How well would a Terminator weapon like a phased plasma rifle in 40-watt range stand up against a Predator’s shoulder-mounted plasma caster? I enjoyed this video, but I disagree with your victor because of one small thing. As strange as it seems, the idea that Arnold Schwarzenegger defeating a predator merely as a human, compared to defeating him as a machine would only bolster his chances of success. Even if Arnold wasn't the person facing off against him, let's just say another commando, the odds of a trained commando beating him are still pretty great. Scar is still though a bit more advanced than the previous predators from what you explained very well. Thank you for taking the time to create this match up though, I enjoyed about every minute of it. =P

The final battle between the two could go either way. What it depends upon is the motive of why they are fighting. If Pops was defending his Sarah and Kyle Reese from the Predator then IMO it would go differently. Pops learned to be a father or very strong paternal figure to Sarah Connor. Pops' programming and subroutines were made more human and father like protecting his Sarah.

Terminators most certainly do have a limit to their endurance since they have a power supply that can’t be replaced when they travel back in time. “I require a cutting tool” said the T800 in Rise of the Machines after his primary power supply was damaged. Endurance was the entire point of the new T800 vs old T800 scene in Genisys. While Terminators were engaged in the never-ending battle with mere humans, Predators would have still been out there hunting, learning, and adapting. And the second they realized Terminators are a more worthy opponent than humans, Predators would have started hunting them instead of humans because...Predators. Predators learn and adapt with each encounter much like Terminators and SkyNet adapt each time they FAIL. But here’s the deciding factor to me...SkyNet/Terminators adapt to destroy humans on Earth, and had a hard time doing it even with a time-travel cheat. Predators adapt to destroy any damned thing they encounter in the entire universe.

I’ve seen in an Aliens vs Predator vs Terminator comic crossover a Predator easily taking out a Terminator with it’s shoulder cannon, the same Predator (and many others in the comic) were overpowered by Alien/Terminator hybrid(s)

predator will win! His weapons will cut the Terminator down. Terminator is a walking tank. He takes hits and gives them back. Predator plasma blaster will finish him off easily. Unless it was in close range, Predator has bitten off more than h can chew.

The hydrogen cells is a T-850 thing. The T-800 has a cell the uses nuclear reactions that is behind the armor plates instead of a hatch. The T-800 primary vision mode is infered as it considers the visual spectrum to be to energy inefficient to process but it can see like a human if it wishes. The T-800s strangth is inconsistent and according to the wiki it's 40% stronger than the T-600 that can lift 4000lbs and that would mean the T-800 can lift 5800lbs however it has been seen doing much more such as in Terminator Genesis it was able to hold a school bus with one hand witch is about 24,000lbs with one hand! And the T-800 would notice the there is a knife in its neck and would get it out or hold the predators hands still. Marcus was able to do it because his strength was only slightly less than the T-RIP (T-800 prototype) and he had leverage. I don't agree with your verdict but it was vary interesting and fun!👍

I personally think the winner of these two is decided if the Predator has his Plasma Cannon or not, cause the Cannon could easily blow up The Terminator but if its hand to hand combat (even if the predator has his bladed weapons) the terminator would win, The Terminator is not a living thing which means he can take crazy amount of damage and he's possibly stronger then the predator since he's hydraulically powered, so yeah I think Terminator wins this one

All points given in the video I agree with, what the dissagree with is the actual fight, the predictions for this were ok however the predator could have used the blaster to create distractions, while the terminator could have used either the fuel cells as bombs or used the close range of it's final moments to find weak points to hit the predator's vulnerabilities and kill it before the predator.

IF THE PLASMA RIFLE THING IS NOT WORKING THE PREDATOR HAS NOTHING IN HIS ARSENAL TO HURT THE TERMINATOR!!! Also the plasma gun is easy to doge, but not the precise bullet fire from the Terminator. Humans have beaten predators with a pizza cutters...try this with a Terminator...the stealth will not work against a Terminator and the Predator is hard to detect, because his produces no heat...ALSO THE PREDATOR HAS NO IDEA WHAT HE IS UP AGAINST, HE WILL THINK IT IS A HUMAN AND GO INTO CLOSE COMBAT..

I'm sorry man, but ya lost my subscription when ya said the M1911 was chambered in 9mm. They're chambered in .45. Also Schwarzenegger beat a Predator as Dutch, a human, so it just makes sense (in a Hollywood way) that he could beat the Predator as a much more resilient Terminator. It's just basic sci fi math.

Good breakdown but I humbly disagree with the final battle, and I'm more of a Predator fan than a Terminator fan. A Terminator cannot feel pain, Predator can! And that's what it would all come down to, dont get me wrong it would be an amazing and very close fight! But Terminator edges it for me just barely.

I'm sorry but he admits that scar that's a shot from a grenade launcher and not only does her survive... But somehow being taken off his feet doesn't allow Terminator to capitalize for the win. Plasma cannon is great, sure, and so is Predator but I feel this is a bit biased. I don't think predator would be alright after taking a 20mm grenade to the chest in the first place, let alone be in a good enough condition to regroup and win. And as previously stated... The terminator just doesn't keep shooting while he's down? Biased.
