Thank you for this video. My husband had this happen in the last week at 32 and had a stroke on Friday. It has been so useful sharing this with his family to explained what happened causing the stroke.

My friends wife just had this kind of stroke. I felt better watching your video. He said her brain will heal because it’s in the back. Thank you so much.

Has anyone been able to fully recover? What was your treatment? Dealing with this too. Full pain in back of head and eye pain comes and goes. Had stroke like symptoms 2 months ago but CT and MRA showed no brain damage.

I had this 2 years ago at 37. Unfortunately they had to go in and repair it, probably causing a bacterial meningitis. Also hydrocephalus occurred. And three cardiac arrests. I then had a reaction to the antibiotics and had acute kidney failure. To handle the brain swelling they permanently removed pieces of my cranium. I suffer from balance issues, the double vision healed away. I've gotten way better tru physiotherapy and exercise tho. My biggest issue is the brain fatigue. I think the bacterial meningitis made it way worse tho. But recovery has been good, physically.

I am having a lot of issues, vertigo, headaches HR that will go from 70 to 160s - 180s when I stand up, almost blind in one eye, numbness, ears ringing, brain fog, balance issues and more... I was diagnosed with POTS but there is much more going on. I also had 5 bulging discs in neck and 2 in lower back but had 2 replaced in neck. I done everything but get on my knees and beg for an MRA or CTA and got another plain MRI w/o contrast again. I feel like I am losing oxygen to the brain. Om my MRI that was read as "Normal" I noticed the vertebral arteries when coming out of my spine and into the brain you can BARELY see one and it is very thin, the other is bright and round but not having contrast or an MRA or CTA I cannot track them past the first intersection. I am losing flow. Maybe when I show the Dr. this they will take me more seriously if I don't have a stroke by my next appointment.

I had a vertebral artery injury after suboccipital ear surgery. The bleeding was stopped during surgery but it resulted in an occluded artery. Dr said I can live fine with one Thanks Dr. 😢 I still have neck pain and migraine like pain to forehead which has been treated with nerve blocks.

s you know, massages are extremely common when travelling to Asia due to extreme daily walking.... This applies to chiropractors too. Also, you might have thinner vertebral artery, who knows!! Just beware! A slight fold in the outer layer of the 3 layers of the lumen of the cerebral artery makes a big difference. So far I don't seem to have any stroke symptoms, just slight loss of balance upon rising from bed plus extreme fatigue and tiredness for 6 weeks in Asia. Hopefully it will naturally heal in the next few months.......I will just take 81mg chewable ASA to prevent any possibility of strokes....😎😎😎😎😎😎

In scared I have this too, what were your symptoms? I keep getting headaches at the back of my head and other symptoms
@blackicebishop1996
@blackicebishop1996 Год назад
@@aliyaf9869 I had headaches that kept getting worse and worse and it was very easy to know they were worse each time I just kept pushing it off I then cracked my neck which was normal for me to do on a daily basis but between stress energy drinks overworking myself and cracking my neck I tore the artery lining and caused a blood clot I'd say definitely get checked out by a doctor before anything else cause recovery is hard

@@blackicebishop1996 I get neck cracks now too and am very concerned about them. I will need to go to a doctor and do a scan soon I hope I get better.

@@blackicebishop1996 where were your headaches located? Do you have brain fog and poor circulation? Can you rotate your neck without pain or other symptoms? Do you have muscle stiffness
@blackicebishop1996
@blackicebishop1996 Год назад
@@aliyaf9869 my headaches where almost hook shaped always started from my neck over my head and behind my eye then the day before my stroke I felt fine and normal I went to bed feeling the best I'd felt in years and I cracked my neck as usual then when I woke up I was at the hospital the next afternoon I don't remember what happened between those times but from what my wife, dad, and doctors tell me it was VERY bad I still can barely use my left arm or speak to well I can't pick up my kids anymore it's a very disheartening thing to go through I just wish I knew it was coming so I could have tried to stop it I don't feel like myself anymore like I know I'm me but I don't feel like my body is my own anymore

Stay away from any HEAD, NECK massages and any chiropractor maneuvers at all costs!!!it happened to me recently when I travelled to Japan and Asia for 6 hectic weeks with extensive walking. I had 3 head and neck massages and this make cerebral vertical dissection (VAD) worse! Good luck!

"how is it diagnosed" -yeah seems like they are having a stroke- can we throw them in the CT for a CA vs. HEMO maybe do a bone window on one of the axis... IDK... WTH this dosn't happen randomly- I mean maybe in a fringe setting- but when they came in directly from a Chiropractic situation... Assume ischemic stroke... Just start with the basics
