*Horner syndrome* is a rare condition classically presenting with partial ptosis (drooping or falling of the upper eyelid), miosis (constricted pupil), and facial anhidrosis (absence of sweating) due to a disruption in the sympathetic nerve supply.
Any medical treatment possible for Horner syndrom caused by carotid dissection ? I ask this for a relative being diagnosed with a carotid dissection at the position behind the eye, causing huge constant headache. He is put on blood thinning medicine, but I do not see how this dissection could possibly heal. Will time heal it or is medical intervention possible?
