Hi, good animation! Many thanks. Could you please advise what we would have if we place a throttle between DC and check valves? From my point of view we would have issue with check, wouldn't we?

Hello. I have the same problem with my hydraulic top link on my tractor. Is it right to install a needle valve after the dpoc valve on the rod side? And how can i choose the right needle valve?

Hi Anubisdota. Not a stupid question at all! We build these simulations from scratch, one at a time. They're built using the same technology as websites (HTML, JavaScript, SVG). So, unfortunately, there's no software package available to help you build your own animations. Hi. Does this needle valve also increase temperatures due to the restrictions imposed to the system?

Yes a needle valve always has that effect. You've got it. Even worse, a needle valve on the rod-end port can actually intensify the pressure from the blind-end port, due to the difference in surface areas on the opposing sides of the piston. This pressure can rise to a damaging level if all factors of the system design and the cylinder usage are not accounted for correctly. I hope that answer helped. Thanks for writing. - Carl

which software you have used for simulation?

Hi Prasad. We build the simulations ourselves. We used to build them in Adobe Flash, but now we just use the features of the web browser (SVG and JavaScript). You can learn more about these simulations on our company website: www.cdiginc.com/live-schematic
