Vertigo 2 PSVR2 is Still a Blurry Stuttering Broken Mess!

Vertigo 2 is still not fixed on the PSVR2... The resolution is extremely poor with no upscaling, constant frame drops and traversal stutter, and an overall bad feeling experience. If you can get the SteamVR version instead as it is a fantastic game otherwise.

Framerate drops flat are annoying, in VR they're straight up sickness inducing. Single dev or not, its unacceptable. Thanks for the video! Now I know to steer clear.

Agreed, this shouldn’t have released in this condition especially going as far as releasing a physical disk and all.

It's not just the issues you mention in your video.. There are still game breaking bugs like falling through the scenery.. When these happen I find it not even possible to load the previous save without the bug still being present and the only solution is to start the game from scratch again.. Sadly at this point it seems Perp Games don't care about PSVR2 Vertigo 2 anymore and have abandoned it

Luckily I was able to return the game to Best Buy before encountering any such issues. Sucks that the dev don’t care to optimize it correctly. Either way looks like I’ll be buying on steam.

It actually lags on my PC too in this exact spot, but not as badly. Other than that, this is one of my favourite VR games and everyone should play this, I put this right before Half Life Alyx

I think dynamic foveated rendering requires a fair to be implemented as well as titles like NMS. Can't remember which developer interview I read where they were discussing how PSVR2's use of atypical features, combined with it's relatively small market, made it simply not commercially viable to do anything more than quick and dirty Quest/PCVR ports. I know the Rec Room developers made similar comments about why they weren't doing a PSVR2 version.

If you have a gaming PC it’s really solid there it’s just the psvr2 version that sucks.

Been trucking through the game past few weeks after sitting on it for a while. It really is super disappointing all the issues with the game still and seems that nothing is gonna get updated.

Yes very disappointed with it. I just bought it on steam and it runs like butter.
