I like the foliage green and the fact that the outside of it isn't covered in molle webbing. It would blend nicely into a wilderness type environment but also an urban one because it doesn't look overtly military or "tacti-cool"
Been subscribed to your channel for awhile now and just stumbled upon your review of this bag as I was searching for something to bring along on a trip to the Philippines in November. I was about to settle on the Vertx Trident but man this set would rock. Keep up great reviews teufel lol
@Robz1ne I've had the gamut 2.0 for a few years and use it everyday. It's a great durable bag. I like the idea of the long walk series, especially the 15l. Would be great for hikes and a day just out and about.
@nw4rnr. I really like that I could attach the hip bag to the front of the backpack. Seems much easier than getting a hip bag and a backpack of separately. I also like the CCW half zip.
@B_Radical42 I like the idea of quick attachment to backpack to make a chest rig without have straps over straps to get tangled up when you need to take something off.
@Redhed97 To me the best thing about these is the lighter weight. I basically stopped using my Gamut just because it is 4.5 pounds EMPTY. GOOD STUFF! Thanks for sharing.
@@JC-wj3hx gotcha. I can only give you recommendations of bags I've tried. Vertx Ready 2.0 (not the 3.0) is one of my favorite bags ever. You'll have to hunt it down on Amazon because vertx removed it from their site. Another is tomtoc 20L Techpack Workpack when it goes on sale amzn.to/4bn7LHR
@el_brain I have had a AlphaOneNiner Evade 1.5 for about 5 years and absolutely love it. Looking for another bag and this bag looks perfect! Keep up the content! 🤙🏽
@the_super_dave I’ve never tried a Vertex bag. I went through a bunch of tech conference freebies. Then Swiss Army bag was popular with techie nerds in mid 2000’s. I got a Tom Bihn Synic recently for vacation in Hawaii. Have to give these a try
@mgguzik - Just getting into the Vertex bags and appreciate this review (love your other reviews & content as well). Would be great for mountain biking as well as travel. Looking forward to trying one or more of these soon.
Saw on instagram your post about your edc pouch (the brown leather one) could you possibly do a video on it and sharing what all you keep in it. Im newer to your channel so not sure if you already have a video on it -if so could you lead me to that video? thank you!!
@calj1224 - I have been a Vertx supporter and recently started researching waist/fanny packs to carry primarily medical when deploying a chest rig catered to being slick. the Waist pack is the perfect size with easy access and their Tactigami system is OP when it comes to organization.
@mr.legacy31 This is a game changer and super dope idea for sure, love the idea of being able to roll around with both your backpack/chest rig at the same time gonna be good for travel and everyday errands definitely gotta add this gear to the collection….
Justin.sams.5454 I love that it look plain an that it had a pocket to hold the strap if you have it hooked to another bag . Also love how you can hook like hero clips to the strap. Love the channel man. Keep the great content coming.
@r0uui3 I love that it's lightweight, modular and has the colors that I prefer and is not bulky looking. Comes with great organization and the water bottle pocket is just awesome.
I've been looking for a slim backpack and sling. I climb cranes with narrow barrel ladders. Lately I've been stuffing tools in my 5.11 2-banger sling and it's been... interesting. If I don't get the giveaway, I'll definitely be ordering the 15L + waist pack/sling. @Whiskey93Wisdom
Always been a fan of Vertx. Have wanted a Gamut for a while but never pulled the trigger on one. Now that I see this model, I may have to move towards this. I like the lightweight look of it. The green color appeals to me compared to the traditional black. Hope to get my hands on one soon. @itsjustnate_
@landpn.j19 I like the size and price point of the 28 liter bag. It gives someone the opportunity to get an adequately sized bag and not have to sell a kidney to get it!
this series dropped at a perfect time as I have been in search for a high-quality, minimal yet modular bag (and sling) to update my EDC; your insights are much appreciated; @sacro87
Recently found your channel and enjoying the content so far. Semper Fi brother. Nice that it doesnt look overtly tacticool. The black looks as if it could blend in in just about any surrounding. @nicholes.bernard
