Very big abandoned house with everything left behind in Canada. Explore #25
I noticed this big abandoned house a few months ago. This house sits on a very large property in a busy town. I drove by it so many times but never checked it out. There was a Notice of Development sign on the property so not sure when this house will be demolished. Thanks Rick for the poe 👊

I have been exploring abandoned places since I was a child and now I would like to film the explores and share the videos with you.
My father took me to my first abandoned house when I was 7 years old. I remember going into the house and a old farmer came in and told us "we better watch out as the floors are all rotten and unsafe". Ever since that day I was hooked on exploring abandoned places.

I wish there were organizations that would buy up these old houses use them for community housing, foster care housing there's soooo many people need of permanent hosting, the government should help , give people a chance to work together too restore revitalize, use these properties for the good of humanity, if I had money I would forsure.

No, I doubt that you will be able to live in such houses. I saw some abandoned houses and I saw they have a lot of problems not physical problem about the house it self. The issues is that some of those houses were built by people who thought to retire far from other people in quit place, but then they realized they were too far from hospitals , clinic..ect and a few more years they realize they no linger able to even derive to groceries stores because of deteriorating health. Other their problems are utilities like electricity, phone and water. So is storms they most likely stay weeks without electricity or phone service because either companies unable reach them or they are unable to report their problems. There are also problems with security and burglary most house like those houses because they are in remote areas are prone to theft and burglary. lastly the biggest problem is problem related to the high tax for such houses. I once saw a tax receipt for like $9000 in an abandoned house , imagine retired couple paying $9000 in tax in such remote house. In abandoned house like this no one pays tax , but a soon as you get it in your name and start the utilities service they will start sending your property tax bill and believe me most local governments consider living in such houses a luxury and not a necessary, they have the mentality if you can not pay the tax then you can sell it to the one who can pay the tax and the reality is no one want such properties with high tax, so they remain abandoned like this no one benefit from them.

I would love a house like that, alot of bedrooms, living areas, lots of room for family, during the holidays, grandkids coming to visit, etc. Split level. It's just cool & interesting. And the basement isn't very creepy. Great explore, great camera work. Thanks for showing it.

The children's picture book at 4:44 is written and illustrated by 2 friends of mine here in Australia - Richard Tulloch and Julie Vivas. My son also has that very same toy racing car. Hope someone rescued that vintage Sanyo LP turntable, it looked to be in excellent (and collectable) shape.

There is a lot of cool art pieces in this house, the picture of Brittney Spears done with nails is amazing. As is the wooden truck and paintings of the two girls and the other one with the little pug and man and girl . I thought it was interesting that they had saved all the clips from bread bags in jars....possibly for an art project? Or like my brother used to use them for guitar picks when he was younger lol. Great video once again! ✌️🇨🇦

I wonder if the bread bag clips was like the tabs on soda cans . I remember in school we used to keep them, though I cant rmemeber why?.. I mean we collect them give them to the school and they donate them towards something. I wann say a wheelchair? But that was so long ago... idk if Bread bag clips are the same?

All that stuff ....someone in my community with 3 small kids aged 4 months - 3 years old just lost everything in a fire. So many things in that place they could use like toys and baby change table etc 😟

That's horrible 😢 I can't imagine how difficult it must be to lose everything...especially things like family photos and stuff kids make. I assume that the family is all physically OK? I really hope so! I hope the family is getting some help to get back on their feet❤💕

The reason everything is left behind is because they probably could not afford to take it with them. You have to hire movers and that costs money. The reason people abandon their homes is likely financial. They might have had to move in with relatives or friends or maybe a much smaller place and had no room for the stuff.

Finance is a good reason why people leave things behind. I moved from a 3 bed house to my flat, but I could only afford 1 removal lorry, so I had to leave a lot behind, ask some charities if they were interested in the stuff, but they weren't. So I had to take only the stuff I really needed.

This house looks like it was a foster group home. I noticed some 'safety' indications on doors. Reminds me of my parent's house before it was torn down. They fostered many children. You would have loved exploring it when it was waiting to be demolished...7 bedroom house.

I was thinking this too - lots of kids toys and rooms of different ages and different interests and styles by the look of it. Definitely something similar to a foster home possibly. Or even a family who adopted many kids of different ages - just the feeling I get from the house.

Apartment managers where I grew up called that kind of stuff left behind "Eviction downsizing" Basically, they left whatever they didn't want to bring in the last few truckloads behind for the property manager to clean up. The paintings also look a little like "If he/she wants these effing things, they can come get them!"

Many of these homes always looks as if they were working on it, meant to come back then suddenly lost interest or just no longer cared and left it. Makes me wonder if something happened to them. Because I can't wrap my head around people packing which looks so obvious, then just quitting and never returning. My suspicious thinking.

This house was pretty cool; I hope before it was or is demolished that someone from a shelter or such was allowed to come in and take all the furniture and anything that can be useful for someone in need, even the doors and kitchen cupboards can be used and that wood furnace and sewing table...better than it going into a landfill....thank you for the effort you make to bring us these videos. Once again it feels weird commenting on a exploration you did three years ago but that house and some of it's contents were so fascinating. Two things that stick out are the Spears image done with synthetic nails and the painting of the two women of the one with earphones on and the woman with her arm around her with what I would describe as a look of fear on her face. Strange stuff in that house with a definite hint of artistic types living there.

This house would be worth saving. It's not too far gone yet. All the doors, woodwork, and windows are in good shape and the kitchen cabinets were cool. I truly enjoyed this one!!

Sometimes a death/divorce/ghost or even a really psycho neighbor can cause a family to just leave. Sometimes somebody dies and leave a ton of money to someone who blows it all.

They are not nails , they are little square tiles of some sorts that I think you glue on. You can get them on the WISH APP. Or hobby shops.

It's a shame this house will be demolished. There's nothing wrong with it. A couple of big Salvation Army trucks to haul stuff away and maybe a dumpster full of what's left.....little clean-up and you could move right in. There's no damage, no mold. And such a big house! Thank you for taking your time with the camera and moving slowly. I love your explores because they don't hurt my eyes!

Great find to explore - so big! One thing, could you slow your room scan just a bit? Hate to miss the details :-). Looked like they had an artist in the family - the paintings had the same female in both. Can't imagine someone leaving those behind. Nice house. Fairly new construction and still in very good condition. Looks like someone took what they wanted and said "ah screw it" with the rest. I'm aging and trying to clear out our 5 bedroom farmhouse and 3 story barn of a 5 decade accumulation of stuff, as our one adult son wants nothing. It's overwhelming. I understand why houses are left like this. Down the road our land will probably sell and our home may be left vacant to decay. Always a possibility. See it everywhere in rural areas now as young folks leave for urban jobs elsewhere.

When this house gets demolished they will just scoop up the house hold items with everything else and take it to the dump. Still sad but you never know peoples situation. When a developer buys a home from an owner I’d be interested in knowing just how much ( I know it depends on the property) But the way so many items are left behind , it seems as though it’s enough to completely start over . It’s usually homes as nice as this with next to nothing wrong with the properties

Nice house, although not exactly everything left behind. Unless they had no sofas and living room chairs. Or dining room furniture or beds or dishes. Or the wall to wall carpeting which seems to be missing. Ah, I nitpick. Nice house, it's a shame it's going empty. I'm surprised it has no squatters. It's nice to see that it hasn't been found by vandals. Thank you for protecting it from the people who would destroy it.

Nice deck. That fireplace is GORGEOUS. I want that woodburning stove too. I mean, do these owners not realize, that if they would let people in a few at a time, and people would pay BIG for some of the items in that house.
