Moong Dosa also know that Pesarattu is a protein packed healthy breakfast made using whole green gram or Moong and spices. It is one of the most commonly eaten Breakfasts from Andhra cuisine. In Hotels & Andhra restaurants it is served with a ginger chutney alongside rava upma.
What is Moong dosa or pesarattu? Pesarattu is a thin breakfast crepe made with green gram, ginger, cumin & chilies.
How is it made? To begin with whole mung is rinsed and soaked briefly for overnight or at least 3-4 hrs and then ground to a batter with spices. This batter is just spread on a hot griddle to make thin crepes.
You can make dosa masala according to your choice either from potato or from Paneer to make it more healthier 👍

Ingredients for Moong Dosa / Pesarattu -
For Dosa Batter -
Whole Moong - 1 cup
Raw Rice - 1 cup
Methi seeds - 1 tsp
Green Chilli - 3
Jeera - 1 tsp
Ginger - 1 inch
Garlic - 5-6 cloves
Haldi Powder - 1/2 tsp
Red Chilli Powder - 1/4 tsp
Black Pepper Powder - 1/4 tsp
Salt according to taste
For Dosa Fillings-
Butter - 1 small cubes per dosa
Onion - 1 tbsp chopped per dosa
Green capsicum- 1 tbsp chopped per dosa
Beat root Julian’s - 2 tbsp per dosa
Paneer - 2-3 tbsp per dosa
Chat masala - according to taste
Salt according to taste
Piri Piri masala according to taste
Mayonnaise- 1 tbsp per dosa
Cheese - 2 tbsp grated per dosa
