I know this is an old comment, but.. my mom used to work at a Sam Myers(alterations sewing factory) with those industrial sewing machines. I'll never forget the night she came home after running her finger under one. Poked holes through her fingernail. I guess I'm trying to say those machines are scary lol
@@GeologicalNerd oh yes, I feel that pain! I poked my finger once on my domestic machine, fortunately missed the nail. 😅 I work with a heavy-duty industrial machine at my job. It's strictly prohibited to operate it without a finger guide, since it wouldn't just pierce your finger but crush your bones as well 🙈
Когда-то моя мама делала нам ватные матрацы и тоже нитками закрепляла слои ваты. Новые матрацы были толстые, пушистые и мягкие. Но помню, что это был труд - уложить собранную вату в чехол. Тут же какое-то волшебство у мастеров, так ловко и аккуратно‼️ Восхищена работой и конечным результатом ‼️🪡🥇👏👏👏
@@sizikh Ольга, как я поняла из видео и комментариев, наполнитель - хлопок 100%, значит, вата. И по виду похож на вату. Раньше она продавалась в магазинах метражом, в рулонах. Настилали слоями, как тут, на нужную высоту. Только сминалась она быстро, матрацы становились жёсткими и комковатыми. Как давно это было.. А в Японии еще живут традиции, потрясающе.

I would kill for one of these pillows, they are completely stuffed with natural cotton, polyfill makes me sweat so I have to have anything on my bed made of natural fibers, these are lovely
@@dshe8637 I don't plan on sleeping on it like a pillow or mattress, it's a pouf on the floor, also just like regular pillows you need to fluff it up every few days, I'm a seamstress and most people don't know these things about good quality stuffed items
@@catherinedilworth1363 wool is extremely costly and wouldn't be as fluffable or lofty after use, plus the fibers on the video are short, wool is typically long fiber

ooooooo .... love them all, but esp that last one! I need a cushion / pillow that I can wash, for the others, need slips made for them, then it takes away from their beauty .. sigh .. Kyoto cushion it is then!
