Probably the most insane Tekken 8 gameplay I have seen so far. I have been hyped and sticked to the screen the entire time. Mishima matches are just so good.
Yeah Fr. That’s honestly my goal with any character in any fighting game I play. Getting to the point where you completely master everything they have to offer is like my one goal.
@@eversongabriel7099the closest i’ve ever come to this is maybe Hayate in DOA, but that was years ago. I’m still confident I could probably boot the game up and feel right at home though. Not quite mastered but I was comfortable enough to be able to use everything he had to offer
Hey MainMan! Im new to your channel in the last couple of months, but I have got to say that the level of respect you have for your oppenents is just awesome. Its really cool in a set like this against a high level player, but also when you play against lower level opponents. You frequently give positive feedback even while bodying some poor soul. An absolute class act and a positive influence for the entire tekken community.
Glad he uploaded this. It's always a delight to watch people who understand a character match-up. Forces the players to adapt and use more of their tools, rather than just running their default game plans.
Its always beutiful to see when players use the full potential of their fighters instead of learning a few combos and spamming busted moves like La Victor
What a duel, classic mishima battle!!! I wish one day i’ll have the execution to perform ewgfs, or wavedash into another move so i can play dj better. It’s so cool to be able to play a mishima. There’s no other male characters cooler than mishimas, is just how it is.
Actually, you can. Every DJ after uf1 on block will try to land either 1 or 2,2. The first option you can jab for a float combo or easily sidestep to either side, after which you launch and kill him. The second option is uninterruptible, homing and forces you into crouch, BUT it's punishable at -14. So DJ player will only do it if he thinks you'll try to jab or sidestep the first option. The primary objective for them is always to land MC 1 on block for those juicy +8, MC 22 is only for counterplay or guaranteed hits if the uf1 actually hits you. But on block it's a mind game. And a pretty dangerous one for DJ himself, as he risks getting half of his life bar deleted not even for damage, but for potential plus frames into potential damage down the line. Quite a gamble if you ask me.
@@MegaCityGhost After UF1, they usually hit me with a downward claw strike and then a kick. I don't know what button combination it is but I'll try what you said in training. Thank you so much
@@PIENSAYLEE That is Mourning Crow 1. It's what they will try to land 99% of the time. If you block it, don't mash. Otherwise jab or sidestep it, as I described. Once a DJ player sees you doing that he'll probably try to do MC 2,2 next time, so be ready for it. If he doesn't, continue punishing him.
Well, as DJ wannabe-main i just wonder why he never used samsara. My answer is maybe because TMM Kaz didn't spam too many lows, but i'd love some more detailed explanation by someone more skilled than me.
Samsara and SS2 can only be used when having a hard read, one wrong hard guess against kazuya and he will launch you for 50% damage. In general, you just wanna play safe in the higher ranks because ppl know the match ups and optimal punishment, especially against Mishimas.
I'm curious of the idea of TMM making a video about which characters he personally finds legit at high ranks and which ones he doesn't. It's rare when I lose to a player who's actually worthy of praise in this game.
Sadly, that is the problem with this toerag of a game. If you get beat, its more likely to mash, heat smash defying the laws of the game's own mechanics, a stupid throw, or mostly Rock, Paper, Scissors bull5hit. I HATE this game....
@@blueeyeswhitekarin3267 Subjectivity is not a blanket tool to magically lend credence to all things absurd. No amount of subjectivity will allow for a valid comparison in player skill between the baby Paul player with 2 hours in his first Tekken game who only knows 4 or 5 commands to the likes of JDCR. It’s just an objective fact that the latter is better at the game, to no fault of the former’s own. This weird tendency to not honestly engage with apparent personal failings is why there are so many more gimmick lords nowadays who rage quit the moment you demonstrate knowledge of the correct counter for their only gameplan smh
