380s are fantastic to fly on, the quietness on take off is unreal, (Pre Covid) I flew business on one of the BA 380s I believe that the entire BA 380 fleet are undergoing interior refurbishment over the next couple of years so they should be around for some time, nothing can compare with the smoothness of the 380.

The A380-800 is the best Aircraft I have ever flown on full stop, I travelled BA: LHR-SFO in 2018 just an amazing aircraft which you don't feel the lift or landing whilst your on the aircraft, This A380-800 Call sign is BAW4Q routing LOS-LHR , It's nice to hear the LA controller calling him, Speedbird (BA Call Sign) 4 Québec Super (Heavy) prior to take off.

It's not strictly backtrack, just taxi on the part of runway, then taxi on the taxiway and finally line up at the end of runway for takeoff. Backtrack would be if airplane make 180 directly on runway.

I must say the last comment of Mr Gaucho being, 'Munich It Is.' sounded like a comment the commander of a Flying Fortress or Lancaster Bomber would have made after briefing over 80 years ago before departing from one of the many airfields in South East England. Thankfully we only fly there in Peace today.

It's where the plane taxis on the active departing runway.

Hi. Backtracking the runway is when the planes use the actual runway “backwards” to do their taxi
