@@ArthurRC quand même, il trace sévère ton truc....avec une propension a ce jeter par terre en descente, trim insuffisant. Un oeil en l'air, un sur la radio et la molette de reglage en tenant la profondeur a cabrer, c'est du grand art !!!
impressionnant ! le bruit de la turbine !!! et alors toi , tu gères bien on ne remarque pas du tout le stress , ou alors tu ne stress pas tout simplement 👌👋

"L´elevator tá fait transpirer 'à la fin " coming in for landing xD wow..... full up :S I had some models that were trimmed so badly that I had something similar, also one time flying with Spektrums SAFE by mistake and trying to bring the nose up with full flaps... I used to fly control-line model airplanes {with _'glow'_ engines} back in the 1970s. The closest thing to a jet back then was the _"DYNA-JET"_ pulsejet. Now there are _actual guest turbines_ that run at 50K+ RPM. CRAZY...😊

I got my battery’s mounted on the wood tray. To make CG Flys great. Dozens of good flights. I I did change out elev servo to a stronger one of better Quality. And never use leading edge slats. Unless your runway is moving 30 knots. !
What is your CG ? I succeed to move mine aft at 170mm instead of 150mm book’s CG, with adding 160gr lead in elevator servo bay ! I’ll try to test it as soon as weather permits

Honestly not a lot…the K70 is very very reactive and fast to go high RPM so the delay is not that different with EDF! The main difference is that it can flame out whereas an EDF is more reliable…! And the turbine is super super fast and powerful compared to EDF…and you have the smell and sound…😍😍😍

Congrats on your first kero-jet maiden!!! That landing with reduced throws was truly scary but you managed it expertly. ^^ There you have another reason why I strongly dislike operating with limited throws... it can be just as dangerous (and more) as having too much! :o

Very nice flying Arthur! Well saved that must be scary to not have enough elevator. I have been watching this model too since they released it. If I can get an airframe for a good price I would like to build it as an EDF very light on 6s perhaps with a Midi Evo 100 or Jetfan 110. Inspired by Wojtek's 6s BH Viper XL
Well aside from the scary elevator, that went really well! Turbine jets are the pinnacle of the hobby IMO, so fun to watch, but I'll probably never own one. I get nervous with an EDF maiden flights -:)
we might be getting a really nice new flying field in our town with longer runway, so that would help make it possible some day! With the current 280' runway, I just don't think it's happening.
You were lucky with that one !!! Well done for getting that back intact. So what happened when you did the initial elevator movement setup rates ? were they not 20mm as per book Did the factory set up the servo arm wrong? The manual I found on line is pretty sparse and I could not see any servo arm setup drawings.
@@ArthurRC Enjoy your next flight. I have learned to go on the assumption that manufacturers have good days and bad days so I check everything. You would think that on a model that is often chosen as a first scale jet they would have a more comprehensive manual and check list
Not at all buddy but it’s just more beautiful when the attitude of the plane is straight without wiggles…when the wind blows strong or with turbulences it’s where the gyro is useful
