I think Michael has made you more confident, not funnier. You've adopted some of his mannerisms and jokes, but you're 90% Lilly coded as always, and the confidence is what makes you come across funnier, imo.
Pokimane and Lily is such a good duo, one of my favorites featured on this channel. Their connection really enhances the content. You can tell they're actually good friends, not just coworkers.

pokis birthday gift is to make her friends happy. goddamn thats wholesome... my cold, grinch, cynical heart cant take it. also on the coffee thing, theres many factors that can make or break coffee. i started liking it cuz for a job i had to work in a frozen river to take sample of salmon. coffee break was the only way i could warm up my hands and insides and i fell in love with it after that job.
there are so many ways to brew coffee now and if you're not going for that top tier grinder, filters and other equipment it's pretty decent price wise. Same thing with beans, there's the classic dark muddy taste, sweet fruity and everything in between.

If he sets the precedent of "If it doesn't affect me, I don't have to care about it" to be a principle that's okay to adopt, that will eventually affect him when everyone adopts it. Being egotistical is okay as far as I'm concerned. But if you're smart, it should lead you down the path of egotistical altruism.
I've been watching otv since middleschool (in college now) and its kind of making me sentimental seeing how close Poki and Lily still are. Like idk its so sweet and whatever.
RU-vid: can rewind a livestream, there aren’t a crazy amount of ads, better quality resolution, much easier to uploads clips/VODs, etc., etc. Twitch: chat is better…. Seriously, that’s the only thing twitch does better, and I rarely use chat on streams anyway. Overall, RU-vid is a better streaming platform from a viewers perspective. However, I will say that the sentiment from streamers themselves seems to be that Twitch is easier for them to use. As in, it’s easier to start streaming there, and twitch promotes their streams better (obviously, as it’s the only thing they have).
My hot take is that influencers who want to talk about real problems should at least get basic facts right to not accidentally spread misinformation or harmful attitudes towards the issues that they mention
FACTS on the confidence>competence there's been so many points in my life that I knew the material or knew what I was doing but because of my carful personality people automatically are less trusting.

If we hadn't improved things in varying ways 10 years ago, 20 years ago, 30 years ago, we'd already have the ice caps melting and bits of land mass being lost. We've improved a lot, but so much more is needed. In probably less than 20 years, at the rate we're currently going, Toast will experience a lot of things very first hand. And FL will be gonezo :D
Well the thing with recycling and environmental friendliness is that the vast majority of people are not really responsible for the damage down to the earth, it’s largely the massive corporations and 1% that cause the majority of the pollution and negative effects that are causing us the most problems and will further cause us problems. The average person won’t really be able to do enough to cause any negligible change, but by combating the actual major polluters and their practices, it can cause actual change

Confidence vs competence really depends on the industry. I work in manufacturing, and if you're incompetent you're just going to get yourself injured. If you're making youtube videos though, all you need is the confidence to keep doing it until one of your vids gets blessed by the algorithm.
Okay but like on the yellow let it mellow thing, public is actually probably the better place, cause its not going to be very long until someone has to flush. At home that stuff could sit for a long time.
Unfortunately, I came to accept through lots of inappropriate questions that the pay gap does exist. I work in the research field and I have a lot of people that move from academics to corporate and in both fields, there is a gap even on countries that have equality as a strong identity of their culture. Also the gap exists in both ways, especially lately there is an insane pay gap in entrepreneurship, where females lately get a much stronger starting payment. P.S. the way that the pay gap works is also very manipulative as well. Usually when you get a job in any field you will be asked if "X" salary is fine for you. Let's say the average salary in that company is 3300€, the female candidate will be asked if 3100€ is okay and the male one 3300€. Usually if you go for higher and they are willing to give it both will take the requested salary, but females will always start lower.
10:58 nope nope nope absolutely not We used to have a slightly defective toilet (had to open the tank to manually flush) in my roommate’s private bathroom. The smell after a few days of yellow mellowing is so so so bad. It also stains the bowl it is _nasty_
