A vcug does not take 20 minutes on a child or adult. Can you imagine laying down in the OR when your hurting and 6 male techs are staring at you naked. When I was a kid they threatened and Held me down by force until I peed on a flat table when I could barely go at all do to pain. It did not take 20 minutes, not once. This took hours. It didn’t help that I was alone in there without my mom. It was a room full of men. This went on every few months until I was 18. The antibiotics they put me on everyday for 16 years has caused many problems as an adult. I still have infections every month or so and a low grade fever, the adult uro doctors don’t care or have no training on this. This video makes it sound like a nice little vacation, I’m Totally offended that the massive pain was not even mentioned. Or is that because it doesn’t matter cuz it’s kids. I feel like those doctors held me down and sexually assaulting me my entire childhood. Why was I not knocked out? I still have nightmares. I was a toddler when this started and the had two male nurses hold my legs wide open. I’m 32 now and now have no immunity. When I get sick the doctors don’t even have any education about VCR. Especially now that I’m an adult, I can’t see a ped uro doc because I’m too old. The adult urologists don’t seem to care. My VCUG was not normal the last time but they never followed up with me. I’m probably going to die at a very young age from infection. videos like this and shit doctors that give me Cipro at the er without a urine culture because I have no insurance. They should know better and started IV antibiotics right away. Giving me a drug I’m resistant too only makes it worse. I’m in massive pain all the time and not one doctor has cared. Maybe because these videos make it seem like a walk in the park. They are wrong and I’m going to die from this and there s no one out there who cares.
Hi Mary! My wife also has same issue. She was fine before our marriage but she got this after marriage. It's been 1.5 years she is getting sick after 1 or half month. Can you tell me more about this? I visited every doctor. Now they say that they have to do sting operation. Can we talk about this?
My 13 year old daughter contracted frequent uti, she is diagnosed having urine reflux, and is taking antibiotics, please suggest we should go for surgery or endoscopy, or should continue with antibiotics....your valuable advice is needed ......
