ahh yes, if i use soul pillars I'll land on the ground! That's way too unsafe as i might break something, lets jump ontop of a high pillar instead! in all seriousness, the map is probably slightly below the normal killbarier location, and that's why it finds it unsafe.
The funny thing is: im pretty sure i saw someone void pillar jump themselves into the lava in rocket arena, so maybe this thing is too broken even for its intended purpose
Figured it out. I think, due to how close the floor is to the map kill box, the game recognizes that the floor = falling off the map. This results in the move not occurring so you dont instantly die, so if you aimed at the wood thats much higher up, the game would let you use it
imo I think they shouldn’t make it impossible for abilities to get u killed instantly by the void, instead u can always fall off but take a 500 dmg penalty and TP somewhere random
i forgor focus existed but focus can also be countered by literally just spam jumping and walking so hhh also pillars is amazing for getting distance while leaving a row of nails behind as i use dash more offensively would probably leap into the crowd if yhe place where you literally landed and stabbed the ground had a hitbox too but it is what it is
@@Bland_Spaghetti focus and roar put each other on a brief cooldown it's only like 3 seconds but it's enough that they don't combo into each other focus is still really good to use ASAP after a meaty roar because you can do a followup on LITERALLY EVERYONE you hit with the roar, and then use tendrils or smth to try and stop them from dodging well
