super good guide cuz if u actually think about it its good in grinding giants cuz u max ur pillage vitality and grinding pit cuz u max dark plauge with max dececrate
This is a great all around build for warlock! One thing I would like to say against the bulid though is because of it being all around, it isn't special in any way. Sorcerer is just plain busted and cleric will win in healing as well as single target dps. That's why I'd suggest changing the build to be more niche and make a tank warlock rather than an all rounder. The build I use (and are free to edit as much as you want, in fact you can make my 100 vit into 70 vit, 30 dex. for that cooldown buff or extra damage via int. Not nearly as viable as pre-revamp, you can even run a little str if that's your thing) STR: 0 (will have 5 if you use slimehead like me though) VIT: 100 (with archmageous robes, slimehead if you want, and vibrant slime staff, the number one most important thing here is the 70 vit pasive) INT: Whatever you have left to dump in DEX: 5 Skills: Adventurer goes without saying... Mage skills: Mana Bomb: 10 Blink: 3 (I grinded myself a sun-scorched staff a long time ago so I don't need 5 blink as that gets the job done very well) Thundercall: 10 (I think thundercall is pretty bad with this build, but I use it a lot when grinding so I keep it at 10) Warlock skills: pillage: 5 desacram(did I spell this right): 10 Plague: 5 ritual: 3 (optional, 5 dark pulse and 0 pillage, depends on if you grind bosses a lot or not I'd say) Gear: slimehead (what I use,) archmageous hat, slime infused hat, wise beard (if you have mom's credit card, use this 100%) Archmageous robes Slime staff (what I use, highly reccomend vibrant, int or dex is fine too but vibrant ones are dirt cheap so they save you a lot of money for scrolling). chitin scythe (again, would reccomend vibrant but dex or int is fine), astrologists sceptor yeti boots (what I use, in battle, lust use banans if you really want speed and jump for whatever reason) chitin boots (when travelling) Idea of build... you are a tank mage. Cleric can sorta do this, but the majoriy don't run any VIT, so you fit a niche that only the warlocks can do. The main weakness of this build is going to be single targetting and low int for a mage. If that is a problem for you, why aren't you using sorcerer lol, that class is busted as hell. If you followed exactly what I use, then you heal for all your casted spells with the slime staff, the damage you take then is coverted 50% into mana, AND with desacram you basically are immortal (and don't forget the HP recovery from yeti boots!) Make sure to always use plague, as with the very high vit this build has, you are going to be doing a shit ton of aoe damage. In order to become even more unstoppable on top of that, the 70 vit passive will give you another 20% defense buff after every spell cast, this passive was almost made for warlock and it makes you absolutely unstoppable in almost all PvE scenarios. Unfortunately though, with warlock revamp, dark pulse doesn't slow down enemies anymore like it used to, but if you do run it, you can use it generously, as you have all the health you're going to need to cast it with the headslime, slime staff, desacram, yeti boot, defense passive combo. If you don't find that you are constantly casting spells, then use the chitin scythe, even though your int is slightly on the low side, you are going to be up close to enemies so you will still be making full use of the scythe. If you are casting spells a lot, make great use of dark ritual. I personally don't think I use this enough sadly, but with slime staff you heal a little bit for every use and with slimehead you get an extra 50% mana per use, you are recovered fully in mana like nothing happened with this combo :> Hope this helps anyone who still plays this game lol
@@frostedblox3678 haha yea most people think warlocks are this mindless class 😅 o well guess plague is pretty busted. Imo though, warlock is good as is, maybe nerf plague and desecrate a little but the class doesn't need to be destroyed or anything. Of the 3 mages it is in the middle of everything, 2nd best at pve (sorc best) and 2nd best in pvp (once again, sorc best) and as a bonus it is the worst class against bosses, really is a shame since it used to be second to cleric (as long as it's web staff and mana bomb with 30 dex,) but simulcram was removed, warlock can do some really chunky dmg with dark pulse and pillage if you have insanely fast internet and a good computer (lag makes pillage come out soooo slow that I usually just spam thunder) then warlock is pretty good but cleric and sorc just do better in bosses. With all these in mind, I think warlock is fine as is. I wouldn't go as far as to say it needs to be buffed, but I think nerfing sorc might actually be a decent idea. Unlike warlock, sorc has a one sided dominance against EVERY class in the entire game in PvE, toning down the sorc thunder (why am i forgetting the name when I do literally all my grinding on a sorc slot lol) by making it's cooldown a third longer. I do have some bias as I main cleric and warlock depending on what I'm doing, but I'd like to hear the opinions of those other than me, how do you think warlock should be nerfed and sorc buffed?
So basically if you have to rate each mage subclass with points to pvp and points to pve, how much each would get? Like for example for sorcerer 10/10 pve and 8/10 pvp?

Since warrior is the best pvp class (all are good but all 3 warrior classes are very viable so this one might be argumentative) and mage is the best pve class (overall, this one has little debate though,) if I were to give my opinion sorc is 10/10 pve (best in the game 100%) 9/10 pvp, cleric 8/10 pve (best for bosses) 6/10 pvp and warlock 9/10 pve (plague and desacrate, without those a 6-7, warlock lacks boss damage so maybe a 8 is better) and 8/10 pvp? I think overall sorc is the best of the mages but warlock is busted in it's own way, cleric is best for bosses though. I think I might rate pvp a little on the generous side (sorc being a 9 I stand by, warlock might be high just my build is great in pvp, cleric is probably the overall worst pvp class though, maybe ranger is worse though) due to my own bias lol but I think pve is pretty fair. Feel free to disagree, my opinion is simply a basis

either i was bugging out or they nerfed desecrate and plague, i was using 'em today and desecrate gave health after and there was a delay; plague's infect range also felt smaller
They nerfed blood plauge in pvp 😢, but couldn't you get like 100 vitality rest int and use dark pulse for massive dmg or is desecrate better with full int and archmageous robes and chitlin scythe?
warlock needs a nerf it may not be good on bosses but they always try to hit the last hit on bosses and giants so they get credit and it does so much dmg and it does not require skill anymore
What do you mean? assasin is exactly the same as the last guide, the only thing was added to the game was that forgotten dagger, which is completelly trash as it has the exact same damage as the incisor but without overbite, which is the best perk of the game.
