What Happened To Vesteria? 

What do you think we could do to bring Vesteria back?

as somebody who started a day or two after the first alpha came out and played consistently up until a year ago or so... it hurts to see such a wonderful and unique game die out due to the devs, i hope it can make a comeback someday

i hope vesteria will make a comeback. Its such a great game.

Truly a masterpiece of a game ruined by the ignorance of the dev team

devs really killed it by making the game harder and i am an alpha player and i witnessed the rich get richer and the poor be at their low end gear due to being unlucky

This brings back memories i have played with people very serious about the game including me who grinded for years but quit after seeing the ignorant devs. This game was my childhood and watching it die is like a wound to the heart

do any of u remember the time u would wait as a lvl 25 in tree of life spamming lfp hope u get carried in sqr for a spider weapon or when u first got one shotted by chad or when u first got a subclass back then, those were way much simpler times anyways who's still waiting for badlands lol

I have been around for early beta and beyond, so I feel every bit of this. If the Devs actually expanded on their old ideas (Such as the fight with Tal Rey), didn't spell everything out for the noobs and expanded more on the pvp aspect of the game they could help it a lot. The next thing they should do is balance out the classes. A shaved monkey could figure out how a lot of the new additions/ existing abilities could be exploited to the point of being OP, they should really aim to keep it simple and balanced. They should also figure out a way to encourage guild activity; they tried to do a little bit of that in the whispering dunes with the bandit camps, but it never really took off. They should try other things and make people have more fun with the guilds. Next, they should add the Badlands; this has been highly anticipated for YEARS and it is time they make it happen. They should also make us more emotionally invested in the events that take place in all aspects of the game. The death penalty was a good way to make us care about dying to mobs, so I think it should be added back. Them adding stamina was a good step in making the game feel more like it used to. World Zero is the definition of repetitive and yet there are a tone of people that play it all the time, so the Devs really need to focus on re-playability above all else. It might not hurt to add some cosmetics either. Also they mention some small snipits about the two Gods Vesra and Terul, but they would do well to increase the lore about them and make them more relevant. If they could figure out a way to make the subclasses more connected to them, the subclasses would have a stronger sense of identity that extends beyond abilities alone. There could even be faction wars. So many possibilities.

i quit and tried to return and realized there's a rebirth system i assume it become more grindy than ever scroll upgrading is already tough though so nope i'll never return again

after the game shut down for a while, berezaa stepped down as the owner of the game, and after that the game became more money hungry, and to this day he isnt really the owner iirc. i preferred the times when the devs were notable and known, and the forums still existed.

When I first started in alpha the game felt so good, the leveling path felt smooth and I felt like I could find where the game intended me to be. Nobody was rich but the gear grind and leveling for classes felt really good. Striving to be strong enough to beat the spider queen was such a momentous moment. After they kept adding locations, changed the spider queen, and added the new perk systems for your upgrade points it felt like the game lost it's purpose, previous charm, and for a lack of better words the game overall from locations, to stats, to gear, it got to cluttered.

for real!!! i started playing the moment it came out for free in 2021, since i never had the opportunity to buy robux. In the start it was so fun just going around exploring, fighting monsters and doing quests, but it quickly got boring and complicated. I still love the game today but i play a lot more rarely because it just gets complicated and doesnt really have the same feel. also alot of thing got messed up when they revamped all of the maps so that for example scallop shores, seaside path and port fidelio were all combined, and so on. Alot of the chests and quests got reset for me and it honestly just messed things up alot

I remember getting 900 million ping from a giant boss beetle that i forgor the name of(which i dont think was supposed to spawn)in whispering dunes

The game died out because they revamped mushtown 30 bajillion times too much

As much as I loved this game back when first played it, it's downfall was kind of inevitable tbh. It's real unfortunate honestly, and I don't anything could replace the memories I first had when I started playing Vesteria.

Vesteria is just such a really unique game on roblox. So many things of it are just so special, from the music, world designs, the community etc. Its really sad seeing it slowly die :(

I remeber when they took away the feature where if you were in a party and one of your teammates k1lled a mob everyone in the pary would get the xp even if they themselves didn't do anything, it was so fun to level up with my high level friends and when they took it away i was so sad 😔

This is about time I need this game back I made so many memories in 2019 with this game, absolutely beautiful and some nice pvp, just way too grindy

I remember a few years ago I asked my dad what games he used to play when he was younger and he was like world of warcraft and started explaining it and i was like thats so much like vesteria and he was like “….😐 yeah”

Sad to see this game flomp i spent 800 just to see this game with 500 players

i took 3 breaks from the game last year, each time i came back i was confused by dumb map changes, for example, each time after i came back the gauntlet enrance was at a completely different spot... devs need to stop making changes for the sake of changing things

Man, if the scroll system weren't so punishing, the game could even have more players, I don't think you need to break the item, just give it negative status and it would be good.

As someone who started playing the first day of beta I really miss the game SO MUCH. I hope it'll make a comeback soon cause idk Vesteria is the first MMORPG game that introduced me to the whole genre. Ever since Vesteria, I've been obsessed with MMORPGs. I really hope it'll make a huge comeback.

Vesteria still has almost 1k players active. Hopefully if the devs stop delaying the Badlands update and it actually comes out Vesteria could make a comeback

I think they should stick to the old version of vesteria (Removing stamina and parasites) also making the worlds connected was a terrible idea, they should stick back to old vesteria, this is all because of the ignorance for these things to be removed, I know they have other stuff such as college or high school or something but like, why would they create updates like this? This is coming from a Vesteria player that hasn’t played vesteria in over a year and when I played it a day ago, It’s very addictive I got to say myself, but there’s just so much things different that’s just not the same as it used to. Which is the reason why it feels so different and even though I love playing the game (even now I’m still playing) but now updates are either terrible or just doesn’t make any sense, which is why I left vesteria. I did came back tho I’m currently like lvl 20 (yes the game is that addicting) which is pretty obvious that the game has more potential. Now, I know the fact that there’s more P2W options but I don’t care about P2W, they didn’t really have any P2W options from the start which is hard to monetize the game, so I get why they would add the P2W option at the start of the game, anyways, I’m sorry to those who are pretty lazy at reading and I do understand why you wouldn’t read this, this is all my opinion and I respect anyone else’s opinion of what Vesteria is turning into.

Forgot to mention the fact that they literally went full on pay to win with the whole “Streakz” player issue who dropped millions of robux for the game through Ethyr rains so in return the devs gave him a custom green tier azariah blades. At first I thought It was cool and that they wouldn’t go any further and I found it quite entertaining to see someone with godly blades not knowing what they’re doing in the Pirate Captain Dungeon, I was a ornate staff mage that time and I did quite the damage on the boss. The next following days after more Ethyr rains guess what I saw? That’s right a whole ass custom dex mage set with green tier armor and a green tier Ornate Staff literally made to be super OP ingame. If Streakz were to bring it to Tribute Wars it would be too unfair which thankfully he didn’t. I take a break time and time again from Vesteria because gambling is not good, but everytime I come back Vesteria just likes to give me a reason as to why I should quit this game.

I started playing in 2021 and I hated money and exp loss after death and I miss these days. Game has changed so much that I dont even wanna play it. Liked the video!!

I remembered playing this during the pandemic lockdown. I loved the game and I even started playing in all 4 slots at once instead of lvling up each slot to max before hopping to next. I favored hunter more than warrior because I had a lot of fun with double jump and his running speed. I played when stamina was removed from the game. It didn’t felt fun anymore when I discovered they didn’t remove stamina permanently when I returned to the game

the week i joined back i made a 1 of 1 green dagger and the community and my guild were kind enough to help me with it

At that time i was playing Arcane Adventures and Brick bronze it was honestly the best time of my life even islands which was released in 2019 was the best gamr of that time its truly sad i didnt notice vesteria

Vesteria was my favorite game ever, I finished the game like 2 years ago on my PC, but my PC is now gone and all I have is this rusty ass phone that can barely open any roblox game, I tried to open it, but my WiFi isn't good enough..., guess I just gotta let it rest, I also remember it having a ton of players, I checked it yesterday and it only had 200+ players,

I hope the game comes back, I started playing today and it's really fun, when I googled it to learn more i was sad to just see talk about it dying. I haven't had this much fun in roblox for a long time

Took a little bit but the game is definitely getting better i mean you can definitely tell they have been adding a lot of new stuff.

Probably the only game I heavily regret buying early access to. 800RB at the time was a lot for what little content it had, and the treatment players got through out the years was just the cherry on top to make me quit. Having grinded for so long just to have everyone's data deleted constantly for 'balancing' was just..why?

I used to play this game FOR HOURS but i stopped because of the annoying scrolling system which pretty much killed the game for me

I knew something happend. Used to play a lot a year ago but the somehow the area I was in changed and I got lost and couldn't find anything so I stopped playing. I started back 2 weeks ago and I don't recognize much I can find my way but its just different and I couldn't find out why. Then I saw think vid

I feel the like the devs and mods couldnt care less about the state of the game and their social medias. They keep adding limited edition items which crash the economy and have no money sinks (e.g high tax rates or death penalty) to stop 1% of vesterians from controlling 95% of the wealth. Berezaa doesnt understand how to implement ethyr properly as he keeps slowly adding more p2w options. My guy Streak has basically bought 15 plat with his credit card. Richest guy on this game p2w heavily. I also asked a mod on the discord and said that ethyr trading for items is illegal right? And he only said it wasnt their problem if you got scammed like bruh they dont care about the rules. I also got muted because a tester in the discord didnt like me so he complained to a moderator friend to mute me. I got muted for an hour for " toxicity" so i went to vesteria support to challenge the mods actions and i dont get a reply till 8 hours later. The bozo mod said i was toxic and said he was busy (i have a screenshot of him playing albion for an hour after that comment) and refused to explain where i was toxic and left the ticket. I ripped his argument to shreds several times and then a developer closed the ticket stating the one hour timeout is over. Like i didnt even get a reply from anyone until an hour saying that the mod in question was notified and the mod didnt type to me for 8. No wonder the discord is in complete disareay because these people (numified and mustsvardo ) just dont think or care and i have all the screenshots to back this. Also they have no transparency. They announced the release of the dragon raid 10 hours after it did. They didnt tell us about what theyre doing to fix the dungeon either. I wasted 7 hours and many keys for them to not care about what we suffered through, not refund keys and vhura stated he wanted to improve transparency (where? It's still bad if not worse after he was lead developer)

The newest update was fire it was QoL but it was amazing and kinda revived the game

It might just be me but with every update I get the feeling the dev team is barley holding together

Opinion on new vesteria changes? I feel like it’s somewhat making a comeback but it’s not going to be the same until they fix some stuff. For example this lunar update is cool but full rng, I feel like there should’ve been a questline to get nimbus or dragon weapons instead of just randomly dropping in envelopes. Maybe that’s just me being salty about my luck though

This might be completely me and I might just be stupid but they also need to make the teleport system cheaper or make entrances/exits clearer. The amount of times I've actually gotten lost on maps cause I couldn't find the exit is crazy

vesteria took out of their game details that made the game fun and sinergic it felt they were just making changes that nobody asked for out of nowhere without thinking about it, and leaving it on their game, like changing the whole exp system, taking out the rockfish of the bar, adding more skills to one class than to the other, putting back stamina... etc. theyve unflexibilized their game, that was all about flexibilization and doing whatever you want without limitations and killed my sniper oneshot ranger build

Honestly the the newest update made the game funner, at least for me. Its so much easier to level up

Fidelio port and wizard land maps should be return to their previous state and taxi prices in the game should be reduced.

It’s a good game but the desert map just ruined it all for mobile players because it gets laggy and it’s inevitable to escape.

I've played vesteria for years but the game always gets shown love from the devs but then gets totally ignored and they always announce a big update is coming but it never does. ive seen 8k people on it and I've seen 20 people on it. it all has to do with the inconsistency of the horrible dev team

To be honest the game could be more fun if it didnt depend on rng so much, half of the time if ur a regular player ur getting all ur drops stolen from some dps build, and scrolling is even harder if ur a regular person cuz of how expensive it is

devs when they realise that instead of nerfing everyone equally to make the game more balanced, you can just add more loot to bosses🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯 like seriously. Way to fix it is to post it somewhere like steam remade it for steam and not for low attention spam kids on roblox that rather play "skibidi toilet gyatt defense" instead of a game that is actually good and put effort in

this game is cool and have alot potential but the game only around farming, dungeon type.. that's why it dies like other farming dungeon type. It might be better if there a cool pvp system, more content to do beside just farming and get strongger

It would be good if Vesteria is not a roblox game :) but a completely separate game that can be played for free on steam, maybe it will be easier to develop the game and fix bugs than on roblox, I really love Vesteria but I don't like it roblox ~~

I quit playing vesteria and went onto deepwoken but i quit deepwoken so i went back to vesteria but i quit again so i went onto adopt me

Good video but most of the player counts are so inaccurate unless you're talking about something else. But if you're talking about average ACTIVE players, the player counts are very inaccurate. During 2020, the game would never even average more than 200, and only took off to around 4k players then in a few months almost instantly dropped to like 1k max.

I already made Plans for a revival. And thought about a player strike due theyre not even Listening to their own staff... So basically dev team is worst its ever been. Polymorphic rather playing around with shadowmancer instead of progressing on it... Berezaa doing nothing. Vumified doing nothing. Updates released without tester insight. Updates released regardless of tester insight.... Horrible
