I like how they made Leon a bit more collected/realistic. There are at least 2 instances where he is just completely out of fucks to give and just moves on. I like it.

Like with Lauren, I’d recommend playing through the original at least to jog your memory of it then play through the remake as there’s some major differences in the remake.

Seeing as you're a big fan of Warhammer 40k, I'd suggest checking out a bit of Elder Scrolls lore that you'd find enjoyable "Pelinal Whitestrake - Tamriel's Greatest Elf Exterminator".
