Loved the series and your reactions Kit! The mexico series is really good as well. But my personal favorite so far is Kraut's video on France's police brutality. A very interesting story

Do you even know that even the Greeks who lived in Constantinople referred to the city as Eis Tin Poli? Which means "in the city" in Greek. They referred to THE city because it was THE city of its time. Not everyone called it Constantinople or Byzantium in daily speech, they just said "in the city" or "to the city". That is where the name İstanbul comes from.

I will try to be better about returning to videos to look through more comments. I sometimes see stuff a little earlier, then don't get back to a video.

So I don't know if you read these comments but I wanted to provide some insight into some of the topics discussed in the video. The 2016 coup, btw, was totally insidious. The whole plan had taken years to build up loyal officers in almost every branch of the government and military. They were all helped by this religious leader called Fetullah Gulen who was secretly funded and supported by the CIA/Mossad group (western hemisphere deep state). Feto, as Turks like to call him, has an incredibly substantial presence in USA btw. THere are some American made videos about him that I'm sure anyone can find. They have somehow built many Muslim schools in USA.. something that can only happen if they had support from the powers that be. After the coup happened, Turkey demanded that USA extradite him back to Turkey but they refused! Feto has been living in the USA under protection of the CIA ever since. There are even conections with Hillary Clinton if I recall correctly. That's a direct line into the globalist CIA/zionist power house. Since that plan was botched, they've been adamant in trying to destabilize and divide Turkey ever since through other clandestine means such as funding and supporting the Kurds indirectly and arming the PKK terrorist group in Syria/Iraq. My guess is that they want to sow discontent and thereby softening the area up before a possible military invasion under the auspices of Israeli ambitions. There's a significant Kurdish social media presence on twitter which is actively trying to create division, anti-Turkish hate not only among content Turkish citizens but in many countries abroad where Kurds also live. Turkey being a democracy, allows the Kurds to have a party with significant power in the senate. One can easily infer their secret connections and dealings by looking at their party goals and organizational ideologies which are extremely similar to the Green parties of Europe. They are going hard on climate change and LGBTQ themes aka globalist scams. And then there's the Arab influence in the country with a lot of Arab immigrants coming in and an alarming increase in calls for the government to switch to a sheria law system. (Never going to happen) On an unrelated note, there is not much animosity between Russia and Turkey as implied in Kraut's video. The Russian side on the Libyan proxy war actually had many other supporters such as the French, the UAE and Egypt. The Russian mercenary company Wagner was the biggest military element on that side so it's understandable to call it a Russian proxy war. What the video doesn't tell you is that the Russian side lost and the efforts were disbanded/put on hold a while ago. There have been other clashes in Syria though. There was a time when Turkey shot down a Russian fighter jet because it was getting too close to Turkish borders. Then the Russians bombed a Turkish military outpost in Syria killing like 12 Turkish soldiers. We like to show our teeth to each other every now and then but the video forgets to mention the significantly growing economic relations between the two countries. Russia is building like 2 nuclear energy plants in Turkey while Turkey is in negotiations to join BRICS. Turkey also blocked all sanctions against Russia that was stronghanded by the west. There's also a very significant amount of Turkic peoples living in Russia. I think the global power structure has started to shift into a post globalist grouping: Russia will have a much greater influence on Europe if EU decides to militarily suicide into them in the coming months. It's obvious what Turkey is doing. Turkey is a very special place where western cultures meet eastern Muslim cultures. They are the bridge between the western and the eastern hemispheres of the world, just like a brain. Turkey also has the biggest, most advanced and disciplined military in the region. Turkey is slowly uniting the Turkic states in middle Asia while slowly exerting economic influence over the middle east and Arab countries. I guarantee you that we will see a bigger unification between all those aforementioned states and Turkey will eventually carry them into the space age. I don't think Israel will survive the next decade.
