Good job on the camera - no worries, I was wondering who it was. That is a big machine for sure, I have just got the Master as you know which is actually smaller than I thought (a good thing), you really have to step up to get on it though. Yet to take my first ride. Range, the Abrams would be similar to the master I would have thought, but I have been wrong in the past.

Yo Ian, just take care on those reviews. Learned to ride unicycles because of one of your first videos and i hate to see a 1000 Km test where you fall. I do not mean to criticize anything, but in the last few Corona years EUC manufacturers were either lazy or competing with themselves and pushing the wheels to the market prematurely! So i am happy your Abrams is safe and all, but look out for yourself on those high range tests! Keep making content! Br,

I just got mine new from FreeMotion $2400 with the firmware update. I love it! Its my 2nd wheel. I learned on the Kingsong 16s. Thanks for this video, there is not much content out there.

For the life of me, I don't understand why these wheels don't have electronic traction control. {Referring to the gerty being herky-jerky on the roots slippage.} It's a simple software issue, and maybe a few extra capacitors. Traction control also doubles as anti-lock braking, so it appears as if they're just not willing to contract out the appropriate engineering skills. Another bonus is that the wheels could much more easily climb stairs if programmed properly. I'd love to know if I'm missing something here but it should be an easy update for all existing wheels that have Hall Sensors (i.e. all of them).

99% of the hate this wheel gets is from people that never rode one. Abrams is powerful, smooth, agile and eats rough roads up! over 2k kms no cutouts now with new firmware 2.015 and their updated hall sensor batch 2 motors. Eucs biggest secret in my opinion. thanks for the great video!

UK no, but never had any issues (probably because ride sensibly and all the protective gear). Top speed around 30mph approx.

I tried the Abrams from a friend. I can only ride seated on it. The top is so wide, it is like riding a pony. I am only 5'9 with very thick legs. I would not buy it as the main wheel. Only as a third wheel, because it's a different ride with the 22 inch tire. It has low end torque, unlike the old Sherman.

I always watch your reviews of wheels over the years I wanted to purchase the Abrams but ewheels here in the United States stop selling them because of cut out issues I see with your review that you seem to think it’s safe after the firmware update.

For us, its more that we have had no issues. We will continue riding and report back. If after the 250, 650 and 1000 km reviews its all ok then its looks like thats the case.

If the firmware has largely resolved the early model cutout issues, it could have legs as a long range cruiser, though owing to its size and weight it is obviously less suited to off-road applications.

Its the Monster Gen3 on steroids to a degree. Its far from a joke. Depends on the application really. The Monster Gen1 we did the 1080 mile ride on was a wheel suitable for only a few really at the time. Same with this.

I am affraid that he noisy motor is caused by low quality hall sensors - inaccurate currents by the controller. Which in extreme causes the cutoff. No Idea how Leaper Kim could make such a mistake after the bullerproof Sherman...

Good update 👍 Touted as 'King of off road' but no suspension. Don't think I will care to watch any further updates as I think it is an irrelevant wheel now 🤔, at least to me. Cheers.

Shame this wheel cannot be "forgiven" as so many others have, despite the well documented resolution of its problems. The Abrams remains a solid choice for mid to long range road cruising and stability in all weather conditions. And it is built like its namesake, so it won't crack open on the first drop.

What was the resolution? I had this wheel and they gave it an update to supposedly fix it but it still cut out, unfortunately it never regained my trust. And it was my favorite wheel

@@jaredboulderterry3912 when did it cut out? What was your update? Mine has the 2.0.15 firmware and I've ridden it for 3,000 Mi no problems. In fact, search for videos on "Veteran Abrams have the cutout issues been resolved" and you won't find a single person, after having put it through all its paces, having had a cutout. That said, the fact that you may have had a one-off cutout doesn't have anything to do with the specific issues of the abrams. People are having cutouts on t4s, v11s, v12, EXN's etc, etc, etc. Random cutouts can happen on any wheel, but the fact of the matter is that people aren't having cutouts on Abrams today with the new firmware. It's just not happening. And there is no kind of widespread issue on it, otherwise you'd see it all over the forums and you just don't. People keep repeating the same old stuff without any new information.

@@sammysokosammysoko I'd have cutouts going over small bumps in the road under 20mph. On top of that every wheel dealer refused to fix it because of the unreliability of the wheel. There's good reason why dealerships are discounting this wheel so much. The cut outs weren't random they were specific. I own. 6 other wheels and have never had them do that so it does seem random in that sense. It's an expensive wheel to have problems right out the box, and I updated mine twice and it got worse. Eventually sent it back to the dealership

To me personally the Abrams is not reliable and I wouldn't waste my money on another one just to see if the newest firmware is better than what I had.

Always liked the look of this wheel. The completely failed track record ruined it for most of us. I bought a Sherman Max instead and has proven reliable

I just brought a shermax. The abrams wasn’t even on the considered list. Why should I consider a wheel with less in every category. They should just retire this wheel after the current inventory sells out.
