They're hardly assassins. They're veterans. I might not agree with the US governments decision to deploy soldiers, but that doesn't mean I despise the men that go overseas. Most of them have the best intentions when they are being deployed, even if the US government doesn't.

Hi, I applaud you for standing with the people and I commend you for doing the right thing. For far too long we have been at the mercy of the corporations who only have their own interests and their profit margins in mind,they have to consider the health of the land and the well being of those who live on it. Frank Yeska52 well it's from the Bakken fields goes all the way to the Gulf Coast they then are going to mainly use the oil as an export to China, so when they say the pipeline is to help America become energy dependant they are lying.

So its a 9 hour drive to Standing Rock and I am getting some sandwiches ready for it but I am going, I hope like most of you you just can't stand to watch this and allow this to go on. I took a vow 10 years ago to protect ourselves from enemies both foreign and domestic.This has gone too far and they will see a fight if they want it

The Morton County mercenaries are horrified by the vets. The vets know how to manage armed terrorists and they will defend helpless unarmed civilians. The mercenaries, who are illegally impersonating police officers, cannot intimidate or bully the vets. God bless the vets!

about time ... i'm proud that our Veterans are standing up for oppressed Americans and their civil rights rather than the rights of peoples in countries who hate us ... our native Americans have been getting the shaft for far too long ... if the friggin' oil is so damn important then let the governor of that state allow the oil companies to put the pipeline across his own lawn ... Those veterans are amazing. They were calm, composed and despite the reporter trying to point out that they have the military training many times, and asking why they go there, what they are going to do there. they did not get into that! They just kept saying they just going to server Native Americans and do what they will be asked to do! Greetings from Poland and UK! keep the fight veterans!

I hope that the US gov't doesn't try to tell the military that indigenous people or nonviolent protestors as "domestic enemies" and command the military to attack their own people. That would be to dishonor the vow that military service people take, if they are asked to volunteer to hurt unarmed civilians. I'm glad these vets take their oaths seriously and think for themselves in defining "enemies of the US" instead of taking the authorities line on what is going on in Standing Rock.
