Vetiver is a strong resistant aromatic grass. The aromatic fragrance of the rootlets has been favoured by people since antiquity, furthermore they used it to keep away vermin from their domestic animals. The amber dark oil with its earthy spicy fragrance is distilled for up to 24 hours from the roots and the rootlets. Plants not older than 18 to 24 months yield the best quality. Vetiver as a rude oil is one of the most grounding of all essential oils and has zephyr its corresponding links to the central nervous system. It is also a glandular and circulatory stimulant and a strong enhancer of our immune system, moreover it is able to strengthen the blood corpuscles important to convey oxygen to all parts of the physical system.
