That’s exactly what I did. My Mb3b has all my tools that are common to every job. Sockets, ratchet, wrenches, screw drivers, cuttings, knives, pens, markers, flashlight, bits. Then I made another bag all of my electrical tools (meters, strippers, crimpers, insulated tools. Then I made a 3rd bad for my oil changed and coolant services ao when I’m doing a new startup I grab my electricians bag and my common bag. Same for oil I grab my Mb3b and my other bag. I find doing it this way, no bag ever goes over 30lbs
As a security and communication technician . MB and MC or TP series more suitable for our job. We don’t need carry many tools. But few testers are essentially. If there will be a large project, pack out will come out.
My mb3b doss t have a hook it just has an extra one of those loops where your hanging hook is at. And the mb3 isn’t the same size as the mb3b it’s actually smaller and it doesn’t have the insert either.
It's a Leatherman Tread LT with a Samsung adapter set on it. I have a black one also setup for an Apple watch. I like the look and the tools could be handy in a pinch :p That's the watchband I meant. The watch part on this one is a Samsung Galaxy watch.
The green piece hanging near the bottom is a door stopper to keep doors propped open. The small tube-like things on top are little magnets. We use those to located wall studs for wiring. When you hit a drywall screw they just stick there on the wall so it makes it easy to know where to drill.
