Max was definitely not at fault here, he simply had no where to go. He got sandwiched between the two Ferrari's. There is also onboard footage where you can see that Max steers straight ahead not to either side. It was entirely Ferrari's fault.
@@NulJern I have to respond to this. I didnt say Kimi, I said and I quote "He got sandwiched between the two Ferrari's" end quote. Where in this do you see the name Kimi? You say dont blame Ferrari it was clearly Seb. Back then Seb was with Ferrari. But anyway all that doesnt matter. Max got sandwiched between two Ferraris, thats all I said and it was for everybody to see clearly. In other words I dont blame Ferrari, the cars and I didnt blame either driver of Ferrari, I only stated a fact. That fact is "Max got sandwiched between the two Ferrari's".
@@biondakersemakers4016 you don't get it... When you say the Ferrari's you refer to both drivers, Kimi and Seb, so i don't have to see the name Kimi to know you mean him. Yeah, don't blame Ferrari (the team) because it was Seb's fault (driver), because when saying Ferrari you refer to both Seb and Kimi, and Kimi didn't have anything to do with it, so that's why it's wrong of you to refer to both when it's clearly not. You see two Ferrari's sandwiching Max, I see one Ferrari (Seb and not the team) slamming the door on two other cars, Max and Kimi. And i am just telling you that you are wrong.
At the start of this race, Hamilton and Vettel were separated by only 3 points in rather hotly contested championship. However the next three races sealed Vettel's fate: 1. Singapore: crash on lap 1 with Max and Kimi. 2. Malaysia: engine issues forcing Seb to start from the pitlane. 3. Japan: Vettel had spark plug issues, and I kid you not, Ferrari legit forgot to bring spare spark plugs.🤦♂ By the end of Japanese GP, Hamilton was leading by 59 points with only 4 races, effectively making him the world champion.
Damn this race...where Seb lost his chance of winning the 2017 title 😶 2:50 Seb needed this win and he was the one who had everything to lose there even though he tried to close the door on Verstappen (who had nothing to lose) and he didnt see Kimi on the other side...Verstappen had nowhere to go..
Vettel absolutely blew his chances of winning the championship, which was his fault. Verstappen and Kimi were anything but at fault here, Max just got sandwiched and Kimi had nowhere to go. bit unfortunate ofcourse because Vettel couldn't see Kimi, but it's still his movement that caused it all to happen in the first place
I know its late but you should really react to the 2018 italian grand prix, it featured some great racing and one very memorable moment in the rivalry between Seb and Lewis
yeah its basically on Vettel but in no way he was able to know that they were already 3 wide... he needed to block verstappen to win and thats what he did. unknowing of Kimis brilliant getaway. however this of course is not worthy of a penalty for anyone edit: Hamilton in no way would have won that race. He was really lucky to win and this wasnt an overly impressive performance. Dont get me wrong though, solid drive and he made best of what was given to him. Vettel was the clear favourite with Verstappen in 2nd. normally the race should have ended with Hamilton in P4 at best and Vettel winning, giving vettel a 10 point advantage going to Malaysia, where he should have won as well, but didnt due to an engine failure in Quali, and Japan he retired also with engine issues... all in all Hamilton scored 68 points to Vettel with 12 in those 3 races. if all went normally for Vettel it would have been 68 or even 75 for him with 45 to 52 for Hamilton...
I don't think it's Vettel's fault, he was just covering off Max, but Kimi touched Max's car and then slid into Vettel, without Kimi I think there wouldn't have been an incident
I think if u wanna go back to watching to Abu Dhabi race just swatch the highlights it was a very boring race just the beginning and the end were good I don't think you'd enjoy streaming the whole thing
6 drivers out is not special considering the wet track and seb's insane move in the beginning.. I disagree when it comes to it being bad race to watch cause safety cars can be good in a long race like that cause the grid will be bunched up again and so many strategies come into play if they want to pit or not so that's all good for the viewers, but hamilton was unhappy because he know that who ever is in second will be right behind him whenever the safety car comes back in. Only thing to hate about safety car is if they are slow to remove the crashed cars or if the safety car comes out for no good reason.
You can’t react to Singapore Grand Prix’s without reacting to the 2008 GP and crashgate. The biggest scandal in F1 history and it’s still a disgrace that the race hasn’t been null and voided. I might still be a bit bitter.
The thing at every race start is the pole sitter usually cuts across to P2 to defend his position, no matter the track, that's the normal thing, Seb did the same here. Check out the 2010 Singapore start, Alonso cut across to cover Seb then. The misfortune for Seb was that Kimi got the best start of his career then passed Max for P2 and squeezed him to ensure Max didn't come back at him, and that's where Max clipped his rear right. Seb was not much at fault for this IMO because Max and Kimi were rather alongside him and they were in his blind spot, by the time he cut across and saw them slightly in his mirrors, he even slightly corrected his course but it was too late. It was more of a racing incident, shame that it lost Seb the title, a sort of blunder, uncharacteristic of him.
You're are delusional. "One of two or maybe three that whole year" lol.. yeah ok, maybe what that season again. Seb was 100% at fault. You can't cut the track like that in the beginning unless you are sure you leave space for the other drivers which is difficult during the first lap. Kimi didn't get the best start of his career at all, and he didn't squeez max at all, Kimi had no where to go, Seb fine move resulted in Max getting sandwiched between Seb and Kimi and Kimi got sandwiched between Max and the wall. It's not anyone's fault if they are in Seb's blindspot, it's not an excuse to cut the track, cause if he can't see them he should be smart enough to know that they might be in a blind spot. At it was sort of blunder, but a crazy big one, and is very characteristic of him, done it many times especially under pressure.
More than half of the grid would've slowed down on Verstappen's place, but he just never yields. If he is in the right, he will stay his ground, and rather crash
