A zip tie around the wire to the metal tube would help stablize that little camera wire at 9:18. The main failure would be the wires keep rubbing on the edge of that unprotected tube. If you 3D print a plastic clamp on the other side of the connector with the wire sticking out, it would prevent someone from hitting the connector and snapping the fiberglass cable. Another way is to make a wedge shape with a stiff foam or rubber and zip tie the other side to the metal rod. They also make repair kits if the connector gets damaged. What is the diameter of this camera? Does it auto level? What is the diameter of the yellow fiberglass? I heard it comes in 5mm, 7mm and even 9mm to make it easier to push through larger pipes. Obviously, that makes them harder to go around bends, but allow you to look deeper into pipes.
Mine that arrived yesterday also shows a blue screen and is a Vevor 65.4 ft sewer camera. After doing investigation on the tool, I strongly believe that it has been damaged from the seller or shipper. Vevor is a mainland Chinese business. I have been using made-in-China products for years, but it is my first time doing business with a mainland Chinese business like Vevor. I have suspicion that mainland Chinese businesses do not do Quality Control before sending their merchandise to customers and do not feel ashamed of sending garbage to customers. However, in my opinion, it is fine to purchase made-in-China products from Western companies (e.g. US companies, European companies, etc.), because Western companies do Quality Control before sending their merchandise to customers. Thus, beware of doing business directly with mainland Chinese businesses !
