I've been looking for a Clamshell Bearing puller for a while to do exactly same job as you have just demonstrated, always available in USA for sensible money but expensive in the UK. Just bought one from Vevor for £92.99 so thank you very much for this unwrapping & review, you are a superb Influencer and have saved me a few quid too!!

Great tool and very versatile as it will remove the pinion bearing too (the DANA 60 in North America has the shim behind the bearing not behind the race as in the Salisbury) Well-made tool, and it pays to shop around - Amazon.ca had these for $350+tax! C$155 Inc Tax and shipping from Vevor in Ontario

I've just bought one of these for just under £100. I need to set my diff up again as there was a lot more backlash with the proper bearings than with the dummy bearings. It should make life much easier.

it's cheap but works and if you only need to use it a handful of times you don't mind because it did not cost $40 a month for the next 2 years

Looks a great bit of kit! I’ve seen quite a few Vevor products been demonstrated on other RU-vid channels with favourable reviews. Seem well made and good value. They seem keen to get people like you to review things in return for free kit so might be worth contacting them if you were interested in reviewing other stuff ?

not bad at all,l end up buying two sets of bearings and grind the inside of one set then put the good set on once l did the adjustments.

By the time I buy the Timken bearings and ship them here, (inc. shipping fees and taxes) it would be the same price as the tool I have a feeling the NATO 110 diff needs moving a bit more to the pinion - so I can now take a shim out of the right and put it in the left, without destroying the bearings

I assume that this pulls the bearing on the bearing cage.

I sacrificed 2 new bearings by machining the inside a little bit, just enough to be able to take them in and out by hand. Do all the adjustments and finally install the ones are going to stay there for ever... nice tool anyways!

Man opens box, takes out stuff, ignores instruction pamphlet, figures out how it works after a few goes. 🤣🤣🤣 Don’t know why manufacturers don’t save money on men’s tools by not having instructions as they are never opened and thrown away with the box. 👍
