I say you had tremendous success staying out of the hospital. That ladder was wobbling so much it made me feel nervous while I’m sitting on that couch.
Good day Sir, you are a great high altitude strong worker and I'm happy that you use your FEL basket 😇👌👍At eared that at 11:23 🤣😜👍 Oupssy Grease and Oil for that rail 🥴Keep up your POSITIVE ATTITUDE Sir Cheers 🍻🍻
I have projects like that all the time! I will struggle for hours and get so frustrated then walk away. I come back to it a few days later and what I couldn't do I hours I get done in a few minuets. You will get it done and it will be awesome! We use unistrut a lot to suspend and lift transformers at work and one thing you may want to do is add some more bolts to the center of the strut if you can. It looked like you only had the two bolts holding it up and if you lift in the center of the strut towards the max lift capacity you may get sag in the strut. Just a thought. It will be a really cool setup when you get it done and extending the strut will make it some much more versatile. I look forward to seeing complete and what you had envisioned!
I completely agree Justin. I wanted a bolt every 2 feet, but the way the brackets slide over the strut, I couldn’t. That’s a big part of the reason I’m redoing it.
Hey Case, Another great video in the books. As many have commented on how you were standing on the ladder, I to wanted to reach into my screen to give you a hand. Keep the great videos coming, I truly enjoy them. Stay safe Dirk🪓🪵🚜
That was a hard install, I wanted to reach through my screen and grab one end 😉👍🏻. I hope you can find those wheels 🤞🏻. Have a great weekend Case 🙋🏼♂️🙂👍🏻
This is the first time I have seen unistrut outside of the UK. We have bought a lot of products from Vevor and they seems to be one of the better overseas companies. We always treat products we buy from an overseas company as a hobby rather than a tool as the instructions are usually worthless and you often get a part missing or something that does not fit as it should. Once you have this installed as you want I am sure it will be a great help
Yeah that's pretty sad that you have to retap the threads. I mean all they have to do is have an extra "victim" set of bolts, put them in just a few threads, don't need to even run them jn, spray or powder coat the piece and then remove them and use them in the next batch. I guess it takes extra time for them so the delegate that to you to spend the extra time fixing it. ☹️
How's she goin'? You looked like you were one of the Great Wallendas on top of that ladder. Man I'm glad you didn't fall. The box on the Kioti was a much better idea. The other things you are dealing with can be fixed with a little mod here and there. I think that hoist will be a good addition for the mill. Take care!!
Sorry it became a big project. Can you turn it into a wireless system? I grabbed a wireless winch remote and put it on my dump trailer for under $25. Would have been under $20, but I need to be bigger connected for my battery terminal. Hang in there and good luck! At least it makes good content.
Happened to me many times. Buy some thing new. No beepin good, have to fix it before use. Sad the way things are made. I had a hard time watching you on top of that ladder. I was figuring you were gunna fall. Box on the tractor was some what safer. And Im sure you know better. Any way, enough of me nagging ya,, you’ll get it to where you want and it will work for you.
