Also as a suggestion for the two wheel system try using a locking mechanism with the cylinder, I’d suggest looking at Kepler Electronic’s video of it as he does a great job explaining, also for the hang you have as of now, you could use a one way ratchet to ensure that you stay hanging and you don’t slip.
For your initial climber, have you tried using multiple wheels/ flex wheel in half on both side of the pole? Another thing is the force you used on the climber wasn’t properly being used, as you don’t want it close to your bot as that won’t give you enough force onto the pole
For the Catapult, How many teeth did you shave off. I didnt really understand the 7 teeth for every 18 part. Just wondering like for the 36 tooth gear, how many you shaved off and how frequent. But it a really good robot and is really functionable.
I know that im late to the video but is there any way you could explain how you get so much power from the catapult im new to vex and would love a better explanation. Great video and the robot looks really cool!!
