Please make this accessible in VR! I'm a loyal subscriber and would hugely appreciate this, and I know many (most) VR users would too.

Hi there! The Navigraph Charts In-Game Panel for MSFS is still available, but in the old version (Charts 7). The new vector tile technology we are using in Charts 8 doesn't seem to be compatible with the rendering technology in MSFS. Moreover, we are suspecting that there would be performance drops in the simulator if we made it read the amount of data which is needed to display the new version of charts. We are researching this challenge and hopefully we shall find a solution (or an alternative). In the meantime, can you drag and drop Charts 8 as external window into the VR view, or launch it as an external window together with your VR app?

I'm easily confused, I will admit that. All I want to do is create a flight plan including SIDS and STARS, and have it loaded into my MSFS2020 PMDG 737. I have Simbrief, Littlenavmap and of course a full Navigraph account. Can I do this completely using Navigraph? OR do I need Simbrief and / or Littlenavmap?? My GUESS is that I should create a flight plan in Simbrief without SIDS and STARS, then import that flight plan into Navigraph and ADD the Sids and Stars, and then somehow load that into the PMDG 737, but I'm not sure. As for Littlenavmap, I like to follow the route there but not sure how to import the flight plan after it is created in Simbrief / Navigraph. My GUESS is to copy it to the CLIPBOARD and then load it into Littlenavmap. I'm looking for clarification / confirmation on what steps to take to take? I can't believe that I am the only one out there having this problem, but maybe I am. Can anyone please give me a step by step procedure

Hey, the way we do it is plan a flight in SimBrief including SIDs and STARS. We export this route into the 737 using the FMS downloader tool available in the downloads section at Navigraph.com under your account. That tool will automatically find and send the route into a folder that we can recall once we are in the airplane. We start navigraph charts app and import our flight into the application-by using the import a flight feature. Once that is complete head to the airplane and we will need to recall our route into the FMC. We do this by going to the route page and typing in KSLCKEGE (or whatever route pair you have, just needs to be in this format.) KDEPKARR. Place this in L2 on the FMC under CO ROUTE and bingo, you should have now recalled the route into your 737. You will need to add a SID and STAR into the aircraft as this can change from your planned route. Hope this helps.

You have done an absolutely OUTSTANDING job upgrading an already incredible tool to an absolute must have tool. I love the integration of VFR into your product so much as it perfectly complements my GA World flight and streams. Finally we no longer have to struggle to apply custom waypoints in our flightplan. We can drag and drop the current flight plan. If transition routes or holding patterns are available you can find them easily even during flight! I am blown away! Having said that I would love to see it if you could use airports as waypoints and an increase in the airport database. Especially since I currently fly in Africa it is sometimes hard to find smaller airports.I don't mind if these airports don't have charts available for them or not that much information. Even if only you could extend the current database with a filter option so not to clutter the map that would be awesome. Other than that I recommend EVERYONE to get a subscription. You will not be disappointed.

Greetings and congrats... just a question tho, is there a way to get a vertical view of the VFR plan in order to see the altitudes of airspace to cross and their restrictions ? this would be much easier to know at what level to fly crossing the zones.

Hi there. We’re currently working on a phone-optimized version of Charts 8. Right now, you can access charts through browser, desktop and tablets. Our web-based app charts.navigraph.com can be accessed through almost any browser, so if you want to use your phone before the release of Charts 8 for phones, you can access charts through the phone browser.
