+aliciaelporve12646 Your provider will be able to look at your skin and let you know. Both peels could be a great starting point and as you do more peels you can mix it up and see which one works best. I use both and alternate depending on what I am seeing.

I personally don't do much pre prepping. One would not want to have too much prior sun exposure and definitely not much post sun exposure. Some people pre treat with HQ and maybe stop retin a's but I personally do not.

Very interesting peel. Thank you for talking about pores. So many beauty sites say you can get rid of them. From my experience, I used to have ultra oily skin and massive pores because the oil was pumping out through them. Years of 1% Retin-A didn't do a thing to shrink them either. I don't think anything truly will. But now, long past menopause and after getting off HRT, my skin is dry as a bone. Don't love that because that's when I started to get wrinkles, but my pores have shrunk tremendously and now I don't notice them at all. One plus from aging -- maybe the only one.

Thank You, this video link below will give you an idea of what we do. Once the skin is where we want ti then every three months we like to incorporate a treatment. It really depends on what the patient has responded to best and what the primary problems are. This varies over time so assessing and reassessing the skin is key. Meena G I use combinations always and multiple treatments. It really depends on one’s consult.... skin type/ type of pigment/ downtime available/ finances etc. 4 treatments a year every year is average for me. Every 3 months an alternating treatment.

Vi peel not peeling. The esthetician did not explain the significance of the towelette and the engine of washing off the the post peel #1 because I had moisturized then applied post field #2. I have a lot of hyperpigmentation and old skin and I'm really mad that nothing's happening I'm not peeling. How soon can I do just a tca

Often people may not peel but rather exfoliate. Sometimes I peel and other times not so much, therd is also vi peel booster one can try for a deeper peel

Salicylic acid is the same as aspirin so if you're allergic to one you're probably allergic to the second part of this peel. Can you skip the 2nd step and still achieve the same results?

Hi Doctor I have done 2 VIP treatments both no peeling. A dermatologist on line recommened to leave on for 11 hour insteadnof 4 hours. I have extremley thick skin, use retin a 1% everyday no irritation or peeling.. other than leaving it on 4 more hours. How can i booster my next VIP peel that will be arriving anydday. New subbie. Thank you!

We usually recommend 3-4 a year waiting 4!weeks between each. Too much inflammation is not good so evaluating post perl to see the skin’s response is important.

I have had 3 peels, one with the booster and I have never peeled. I had some flaking around my chin but nothing more than that. How do I know if the peel actually penetrated my skin as designed? My face was tight the first two days so I thought I was on my way, but day 3 the tightness went away and so did the flaking around my chin.

Michele Reagan follow up with your provider and have them look. Many peels exfoliate rather than peel. Skin type/ layers/ scrubbing the peel etc all play a role.

+Christine Hickey One would need to look at her skin. The consult is THE most important factor here. Common options that we use for rolling scars are bellafill/artefill. There are also ice pic scars and box scars. Sublative rejuvenation/prp and microneedle treatments can all be watched on my channel to get an idea. The girl in red Yes it can. Theres much more surface area so it can get expensive and the skin can be less responsive in areas. Most people need a series of peels especially on the body.

C B no question you get what you pay for. When it comes to you face, health etc., put money aside. Pay for service and safety. Groupon and daily "deals" are not a place to shop for the health of your skin.

Question: I went to a salon and had the vi peel precision plus done this week. I also prepaid for two more peels every 4 weeks. I said to the technician I wore a zip down sweatshirt so you can easily get my neck and decollete. The technician told me I would have to purchase a second bottle in order for her to do my neck, and stated one bottle per each section face, neck, decollete. ?? I know this can't be correct since I had never seen or heard this in any video I have watched for Vi peel. She also did not do my under eye and barely did the top of my eye where I have pigmentation. I'm considering contacting the owner of the salon because I'm feeling as though I did not get what I paid for. I was just wondering what your thoughts were on this, from someone who has obviously done this many times and worked with the product. Should this technician have done my under eye, my neck and decollete? Are these areas part of the Vi Peel process?

I use the Perfect Derma Peel and the bottle and kit is for only one area. It is a a very small volume. If I need to treat the face, neck and chest, I need at least two bottles. Also, the Perfect Peel comes with a take home kit that will not cover more than one area, although you could extend one to the neck slightly. If you tried to use one bottle you couldn’t do enough passes to get any results.

When I do it on my dark skin. My skin tone used to be Light fair but after the sunburn my skin is really dark. If I use the Vi Peel will it help me get my old skin tone back? And make my skin lighter? And like you said should I do Vi peel 4x a year?

You should definitely have a professional look at your skin. There may be other causes. In general the exfoliation will help the skin tones brighten and remove possible pigmentation.

Thank You. One can do one pass or multiple depending on the skin quality and number of peels completed. With treating the actual lid it will depend on the comfort of your provider. I do treat the lid but some people may not feel that it is safe to do so. Thank You for watching.

i had a Vi derm peel and it didnt tingle.It didnt peel at all or frost. i paid $235.00 for it and I seen know results. Not even with the at home towels and SP F sun treatment. I feel like I was cheated and I would like another one. she didnt add the booster which gives you a tingling feeling. And she act like she was on a budget with the bottle. when this lady in the demonstration had more than enough. Question ? Do you think we should have black estiticians for dark skin people . They know more about there skin collegen and skin type.

This is a great question and everyone can benefit from your experience. Firstly I think one should pick a provider based on a consult and one's comfort level that they stay educated and up to date. Typically you get what you pay for and one of the first questions people ask is: "how much does it cost?" This should be the last question. Is it possible that someone gets 1/2 a peel? YES When someone comes in for 20 units of botox and it does not work...could they have received fake product or 1/2 that dose? YES. Reputable people won't do this so interview your provider and ask price last. In your case a follow up is important as your provider may have had your best interest in mind and started slow. You can increase your dose next time. This is especially true in darker skin types. It may also be that, like me, your skin does not peel as much as it exfoliates. I rarely peel. So follow up is key. Please keep us posted.

So after my peel it said in instructions to cleanse the skin so i used the cleanser that came in my aftercare...it didnt say to just wash it off with water so did i mess my peel up by using the cleansernti clean my skin after then4 hours

The instruction leaflet DEFINITELY states to rinse off cleanser then use towelette.

Doc I just got my peel today at 2pm.. I don't feel much burning or tightness it's now 1am does this mean it's not working on my skin ?

Not at all. Its a new generation combination peel so there may be no burning. Some people get slight burning after the towlettes. Peeling usually occurs day 3.

hey doc, i just got my peel done today at about 3:35 or so. did the post four hour treatment and took a nap. now i just cleansed/washed my face with the vi derm cleanser it came with and i gently dry-damped my skin after. i then used 1 towelette and rubbed vigorously throughout where the peel was applied. i just want to know if i am off to the right start?

I just had a vi peel done and I'm on day 4 and haven't experienced any peeling at all yet. Do I need vi peel plus?

Annaliese Santander Peeling is interesting. Some people love to see peeling, others complain that they peel. If one exfoliates / or peels then the strength is appropriate. Not everyone will peel. Definitely one can try the plus peel if after a week there is no exfoliation. Consider a series of 4 peels for each patient if there is some sun and skin damage. Thank you for watching

Dr. Anil Rajani ok cause iam about to do one on the July 6 but I need it clear but the 17 I have some acne scars I just got and iam hoping it clears it up cause they very dark about three spots!
