NIKKI GETS A NEW FACE! Jessner Chemical Peel Review! Before and After!

I think you meant to say dermaplaning when they razor your face. I'm pretty sure microblading is the tattooing of eyebrows that fades over time.

I wanted to ask, were you still able to use moisturiser around your eyes during recovery time?

I did 100% TCA over my entire cheek area. I feathered in lesser amounts of TCA (50-70%) on the rest of my face and neck. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS WITHOUT DOCTOR SUPERVISION and do not recommend this for darker skin!!! You will need to take antiviral and antibacterial oral meds starting 2 days prior to your peel. Use Retin A for ten days prior to the peel, then stop about four days before your peel. Use 91% isopropyl alcohol to clean everything including the table and all tools. Have a clean bowl of 91% alcohol wipes at the ready. Wash your face, then gently scrub your face with 91% alcohol. Then apply 5% lidocaine to the face and leave on for 20 minutes. Wash the lidocaine off and gently wash your face again with 91% alcohol. Let it dry, add Vaseline to your eyes, mouth, and mucous membranes, then you are ready to start the chemical peel. Use triple gloves and replace them often. Ideally it's best to lie down and have another person apply the acid who has read and watched everything about TCA peels. If you are doing it yourself, then make sure the gauze is not dripping any acid. Do the peel in sections. Ideally for a lower strength TCA peel, four layers is good. But for 100%, I would do no more than two laters. TCA will self neutralize after five minutes. After the peel, wash your face with a gentle cleanser, soak your face in clean ice water, and then apply aquaphor or Vaseline. After your peel stay indoors, rest, and stay cool. Make sure your hands are clean when putting them into the Vaseline jar. For a week, continue this cycle of washing, soaking, and using petroleum based covering. After a week you can try to use other lotions and oils, see what works best for you. I used Vitamin E, Palmers vitamin E face oil, Cerave, hyaluronic acid, coconut oil, emu oil, aloe vera, lotion with copper peptides, then I added a light layer of Aquaphor or Vaseline as the last layer. You can occasionally lightly massage your skin, it will increase blood flow and healing. Otherwise keep your hands off of the face. You might get lymphodema which is a fluid that leaks out of your lymph nodes on your face, just wash it off and apply more petroleum based product. If you swell too much you can take ibuprofen and use compression bandages for a few hours a day until the lymphodema goes away. After a while your skin will begin to itch take a benadryl and use hydrocortisone cream. This will take one month or more to heal, but could take up to three months to fully heal. This 100% TCA is only for disfigured faces.

After watching your skin journey throughout the years with all the treatments you've done this is the most dramatic difference I've seen!!! Your skin has improved so much over the years and it's looking SO GOOD!!

I think i'm just super weird but i find it extremely satisfying when dead skin gets peeled off. Like with sunburns and things along those lines also, i love it hahahaha

Hey Nikki! I'm an esthetician and I thought you should know about a new treatment for indents in the skin. There is a new filler that stimulates collagen and over time would permanently fill in the marks. You should talk to your derm about it

I did the Jessner peel at home. I ordered it thru "the skin peel shop" I loved doing it at home and I was surprised that the lady you went to didn't first apply it the same way that I was directed to by the instructions. Mine came with a first step primer, then day 2 the peel, then 3 days the last step (neutralizer I guess) My results were amazing. So if anyone out there wants to do it go online bc it's way cheaper and easy also. The end result was amazing! OH and FYI the white layer around your mouth etc is called "frost" and it shows the peel is working right. If there isn't frost the peel isn't working right

I've been peeling people for almost 8 years and never has anyone become light headed. Not before, during, after or days later lol Strange how common it is 💁🏻 And I wouldn't recommend using aquaphor. It causes white heads, expecially if your acne prone. A medium to heavy moisturizer is sufficient. Also using an HA serum first then moisturizing helps tremendously. Also, with jesters you can get a peel every 3-4 weeks depending on how many layers/desired outcome/etc. I noticed a difference in your skin, get a series of them and you'll see really good improvements!!

Vitamine E and Rosehip oil works WONDERS! I also had really bad pit scarring on my cheeks from acne. I would mix the rosehip oil mixed with the sticky vitamin E gel and after less than a year my skin looked amazing! My hyperpigmentation was gone and the small indents in my face were definitely not as noticeably. Because I have super sensitive skin my dermatologist doesn't want me getting chemical peels so that routine was my alternative.

Omg i just came by your vlog of you getting a chemical peel on your RU-vid account. I am now an official subscriber for the first time and you are my very first. You are such an inspiration. I have also lived with problem sensitive skin stemming from dermatitis. Im constantly on antibiotics to keep my acne at ease but it still never stops, and the scarring is the worst. I'm so ashamed of all the red spots and holes left in my face and now watching some of your videos have given me hope to one day have beautiful skin. Im only from a casual small town in New Zealand and i can't imagine what the cost of getting one of these chemical peels will cost but it is now my mission to get one. After Christmas is done, I'll be ringing around to get different prices and see who is the cheapest and start my saving. Though it may take me months to save, as I'm on a tight bugdet will be putting $2 away a week to get what i think will finally help me refresh my skin, my self-esteem and my soul. I did such a chemical peel, but the doctor rinsed it right away. I stood for about 10 min and then left with a red face. It was pretty successful, I loved the results

It would've been more comfortable if you're aesthetician gave you a post care kit. Just for the peeling and itching. Usually you would use 5-7 days until your skin is healed. I highly recommend chemical peel for any skin concerns. It can drastically change your skin texture. And btw you're skin looks amazing!

Haha omg we are the same person in terms of skin!! I've done 3 chemical peels, dermaplane, facials, and every prescription med under the sun. I'm definitely probably going to try microneedling next! For me, after the 3 peels, my complexion was definitely a lot more even, and definitely sped up any acne still trying to heal itself!
