Route #8 - Shepherd, is currently closed, so I had to skip it.
Route "Frona" starts at the spacious balcony with a Czech flag on it, which can be reached via any of routes #1 through #5. The beginning of this route is shared with route #10 - Charles Bridge. The route is fairly short and provides rungs all the way to the top. However, it is quite exposed and has a hard finish going over a steep overhang, where newer climbers tend to give up. Under this final section, there is a spacious ledge that allows for safe passing. Climbing shoes aren't particularly useful on this route.
I try to only use the rock itself to climb, whenever I feel it makes sense and I feel safe enough doing it. Holding onto the steel rope and rungs is perfectly fine though, and most people hold almost exclusively onto those when climbing a via ferrata.

👟 Use appropriate footwear. Runners are generally preferred to heavy hiking boots. Climbing shoes are not necessary, but can come handy on harder routes (D+)
