VIA Rail/Canadian Pacific model train - THE CANADIAN 

Wow. This is a stunning model. I really like the "Canada" branding on the cars - gorgeous. Good job guys.

I clicked SO FAST when I saw this! I pre ordered the 10 car set last December! And I plan on pre ordering more passenger cars before the deadline October 15th! I absolutely cannot wait to get this set! Y’all have done an amazing job and I’m so happy to support you guys!

In 1967 I flew from the UK with my parents to Toronto boarded the train to Vancouver stopping off in Banff for 5 days before completing the journey. This journey is what got me in to modelling North American GN and CP 😎🚂🚂

I can hardly wait for this set to be released! Way back in May, I preordered the 10-car set + 3-car add-on set + 2 extra skyline domes in the original CP Maroon, along with 2 FP9As in the CP Script scheme! It will be a beautiful addition to my collection.

I grew up looking at this train all the time in Jasper. Man, I have to get back in to n scale. :-)

I rode the Canadian to Vancouver after the NMRA Convention in Toronto and really enjoyed the trip. When I saw your announcement of the train in N I had to reserve it. I am sure it must have come to San Diego at some time. At least it will for me.

This is awesome I'm sure I would have loved to have had a Via Rail train set when I was just 9 years old.

I ride Epoche III / German.. and cant afford this. But I get this is a good move. A legendary Canadian Train. In a scale with much die hard fans but not as many as in HO or O... so yet almost 2024, a compliment on "do this¨

N or HO scale, the Rapido Canadian is the most beautiful train set I have ever seen!!! (I thought I was the only train geek in the world...loll...)

I've read somewhere that The Canadian train in Ho scale- back when you guys were still selling it as a set was $1500 CAD, I would gladly pay the price for the set for sure

I'd like to "milk" the comments and say: "It's a Beauty whey to go..." Here in BC, the Rocky Mountaineer Rail Tour train got with Athearn and produced their very own train. You should get royalties and a discount every time you travel on the Canadian. I have an idea about the lighting... I will message you on FB or email about that idea. Thank you again for another wonderful video... everything about it was/is awesome. I love your products, albeit I mainly buy past locomotives you have made (getting another Dash-8, but this one has the delicious great stripes.) I am in HO Scale. John

I've traveled on 'The Canadian' over 50x since 1964. Apparently the Budd Corp. planned on building a Sleeper Dome car for this train but CP decided not to order them. They had the config 4 DBRs 4 Roomettes & 4 single bedrooms under the dome.

I just purchased a set of these in CP maroon and they are amazing! I can’t wait to run it with the pair of FP9As that I preordered; anybody know when those are coming out?

Very nice Rapido. Next time the N Scalers complain and whine about not being looked after ... I'll mention the Super Detailed Dash 8s and the Via "extra" cars !! I hope to add more Via cars to my antique HO Canadian VIA set :)

Do you think there will ever be a second run of these? I've booked a trip on The Canadian next year from the UK and fancy a souvenir but it seems I'll be two years to late for an N scale model!

Looks great. Fantastic detail, which I guess would be replicated on the HO versions. Just unfortunate that I model British outline. Nonetheless, I like!! Maybe I'll get to ride the 12 inch: 1 foot version one day!!

Rapido .if you read this if your open to ideas.please concider looking into "The Chessie" it was a steem loco and passenger cars of the chessie system.not a lot of chessie stuff out there and what there is isint done well.anthing with the sleeping kitten on it seems to sell well and popular.your detale is really nice.keep the N scale stuff comming.thx
